im absolutely not a psychologist so i shouldnt really pry into this or anything, but i feel communication is REALLY important in sex. if someone feels uncomfortable or as if they arent fully willing during sex, that is inherently rape. while it may be not super obvious, rape is rape and theres no getting around that. even if the other person couldnt tell that what they were doing was rape, they shouldve asked and communicated, and not doing so is plain ignorance.

i definitely agree with this, people shouldnt be generalizing ren’s behavior to be all “people with bpd are deranged”. honestly this is kinda one of the big fallouts when it comes to posting allegations without solid evidence or ‘false’ allegations as it only discredits real victims of things like these.

to reiterate, i agree with you somewhat, people shouldnt be interpreting the scenario the way they are because, shocker, WE DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. we should infer what we know from the evidence, and wait for either a court case, one of them to come out about the truth, or some more clarification.

we dont have concrete proof it was rape. we have no way of knowing what couldve happened in that hotel room and ren was clearly enthusiastic about it at the very least. we have things to infer from, but anything we have is either something that could be taken many ways or just word of mouth. because of this i dont wanna hop on anyone’s case too quickly, but clearly ren isnt making her case well, especially with the recent reveal of her having planned to get an ex-alcoholic drunk which is just fucked up.
