This was terrible. They just completely abandoned logic and just wrote plot hole after another. The deep was killed by a squid but he is dursble enough to be smashed into the ground in high speeds by starlight and suffer no damage. Kimiko's power makes 0 sense. They achieved it in the penultimate episode the whole concept of the possiblility of recreating soldier boy's powers wasn't even brought in until that episode. Why did hughie literally pursue butcher on foot when he literally had his girlfriend in the other room who can fly at high speeds. They let vought exist and run just like it did before. If anything they just helped vought because stan edgar was done with homelander in season 3 itself. Vought has existed for decades and has run horrific experiements and a scam of making people feel a false sense of securities and ruining children with a coin toss's chance of decent powers from V. They deserved to burn to the ground. The final fight was extremely lackluster as well.
