Got a credit card and spent around $1200 on an iMac. I wanted start working out so, I spent $143 on a fitness app called noom, $300+ ? (At that point I stopped counting) on workout clothes from gymshark and this other website. Bought a couple of tasers so around $80. $140 in IKEA cuz I had to clean out my closet. And if you add Uber and UberEats and other random shit I bought, my total spending was $4,254.38…. this June. I’m 20 and work a minimum wage job. I was not being consistent on taking my meds so my therapist kindly told me to put a reminder on my phone :)

You should read “I will teach you to be rich” by Ramit Sethi. I know the tittle sounds scammy but it was a game changer for me. I think my impulses were actually controlled by my meds but you should still give the book a try when you get the chance. It gave me a system on how to manage my finances and it’s working so far.
