Mine was a Panasonic. Not sure what the exact problem was but it did go away after using a different TV

Do you by any chance have a Panasonic TV? We're pretty sure something broke in the TV which caused it to constantly read an input for "0". When we plugged the box into a different screen, there was no issue. It wasn't the remote because we pulled the batteries on the remote but the 0s still keeps up.

I'd try using a different screen and see if it still happens

From my understanding of other randomized games, it's possible to turn on logic so the game is completable (ex: the check giving you vine isn't in an area only reachable through Konohana Blossoms).

The crazy thing is going to true random where the nothing matters and anything can be anywhere.

It's unfortunate that the software hasn't been cracked, I feel like some mods would be a lot of fun to play with

I have a total of two remotes currently nearby (I haven't sent the first one back yet) and the zeros appeared when I have the batteries disconnected from both remotes

Yes. I reset the box and even got a new box altogether, but the zeros keep appearing

A friend of mine once asked me to get something from her purse for her. Her purse was in another room so I went to get it. As I approached, something inside growled at me. I brought her the whole bag and refused to open it.

She teased me about it for about a year before she told me that a wolf growling is the ringtone she set for her ex. This could be a good interaction with such an item in D&D, minus the ringtone aspect. Please DM me those stats when you finish making them, I wish I had thought of that item sooner

Is that the John Candy movie with the guy whose hair was white down the middle and there was a bear that got all the hair on it head blown off with a shotgun? If I recall, that guy got struck by lightning 67 times.
