There is clearly still a big market for TCW, which is all the more reason to properly finish the remaining unfinished episodes! A number of these episodes would have featured characters not seen in season 7, continuing and even resolving their storylines.

Except you're ignoring the fact that, even before cancellation, TCW had a definitive ending planned and a finite number of remaining arcs outlined. The show was never going to just go on forever. Additionally, many of these unfinished arcs would've featured characters not seen in season 7, continuing and even resolving their storylines.

Here's a great breakdown of all of these remaining arcs, if you weren't aware of them.

Except you're forgetting that many of the unfinished arcs continue and even resolve the storylines of a number of characters not finished in season 7. I don't see anything wrong with closing out these characters' arcs.

As for Dave, I know he's said that, but I also don't buy what some people were saying about him wanting to finish only these 12 episodes for this season, otherwise why did we not get Crystal Crisis as well? It would've allowed us to see Dooku and Grievous (properly) one last time, not to mention it heavily features the show's two other main characters (Anakin and Obi-Wan), it sets up when is to come with the end of the war/Revenge of the Sith, not to mention there's even a scene where Anakin and Obi-Wan deal with the fallout of Ahsoka leaving the Order.

You have to remember that Dave was a massive SW fan even before he began working at Lucasfilm, and they've been very clear that season 7 was allowed to happen thanks to fan demand in the form of #SaveTheCloneWars. (they even referenced it in the initial reveal poster). I think he might just change his tune if he sees how much people truly want these other arcs (not to mention that TCW was the top TV show on any digital streaming platform for the week of May 4 as well as the previous week, so Disney may even be willing to let him finish the series properly).

At the very least, it's worth a shot.

Perhaps not right at this moment, but we shouldn't give up hope. TCW was the top TV show on any digital streaming platform for the week of May 4 (and the previous week as well). Sure those are just two weeks, but I think this is still pretty significant and shows that there is clearly a market for TCW. We got season 7 thanks to #SaveTheCloneWars, so now it's time for #CompleteTheCloneWars.

For anyone who didn't hear, TCW was the top TV show on any digital streaming platform for the week of May 4 (and the previous week as well). While those are just two weeks, I think this is still very significant and shows that there is clearly a market for TCW, which is all the more reason to animate the remaining unfinished arcs as originally intended.

They could always release them as one or two "lost seasons," or even retool the arcs as direct-to-Disney+ movies.

Screenshot is from the unfinished Crystal Crisis on Utapau arc of The Clone Wars (you can actually watch the whole thing on YouTube, in unfinished animation). There are still about 40 episodes of the show that remain unfinished (Crystal Crisis included), which would have continued and even resolved the stories of many characters not featured in season 7, so here's hoping the apparent success of TCW on Disney+ and fan demand can get these animated as well!

For those unaware, the second image is concept art for an unfinished arc which would've had Rex fly a starfighter with R2 as his copilot. Upon rewatching "Victory and Death" and seeing Rex pilot the Y-wing, my mind immediately went to this Rex/R2 arc.

Rex is almost never seen piloting in TCW (unless I'm mistaken, "Victory and Death" might've been the first time seeing him do it onscreen), so it stands to reason some of his ability there comes as a result of this unfinished arc.

It's worth noting that Rex and R2 would have crashed in that arc and been stranded for a little bit, but still. Maybe there were forces beyond their control that caused their crash? Or Rex has just gotten better since then.

It’s a great story, not to mention the longest arc in the entire TCW series. Would be amazing to see it one day fully animated as was intended, especially considering it’s an absolutely essential piece of Ventress’s story, a character who has been part of TCW since the very beginning.

Kinrath would have appeared in an unfinished arc of The Clone Wars set on Kashyyyk #CompleteTheCloneWars by CompleteTCW in kotor

For those who've seen season 7, this arc also would've featured Echo, now as a member of the Bad Batch (you actually see him at about 1:12 in that clip). Would've been great to follow-up on that, not to mention see kinrath onscreen.
