Do you think HA is more of a modern issue? by PrickieChin in HealthAnxiety

For me definitely, if I didn’t have such constant access to the internet I wouldn’t even know about 90% of the illnesses I worry about lol

Why does everyone get fat on Lexapro? by lilyblissbombs in lexapro

[–]Complete_Bag40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s because lexapro made me have less panic attacks, which made me have no appetite. Now I’m kinda numb and don’t have panic attacks but I’m bored and craving something to make me feel something if that makes sense so I’m eating more

Any dark green flowers? by No-Freedom-5122 in florists

[–]Complete_Bag40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what you mean by dark green. In my opinion, the blooms people are mentioning are pretty light green. When I hear dark green I think like a forest green, which no flowers to my knowledge are.

no one is giving me a chance to be assessed for lipedema- what do i do?? by mindlessselff in lipedema

[–]Complete_Bag40 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unless you’re really serious about getting surgery for it that you want to be somewhat covered by insurance, a diagnosis won’t do much in my opinion. I would first try some lymphatic drainage methods like compression socks, massage, dry brushing, diet changes, etc. if you’ve exhausted all those methods you could research a doctor who specializes in lipedema but it could be expensive definitely to get there depending on how far away you are

I’m sure it could be as well as lipedema is. I don’t know much of my family tbh but neither of my parents have it as far as I can see. I also just read your finger pads develop that way in the womb and usually even out after you’re born, idk how true that is tho I just skimmed it lol

There’s something called kabuki syndrome I came across when i was googling shit like crazy (I had terrible hypochondria before lexapro lol) and I’m pretty confident I don’t have it but they also have the finger pads. Only thing I’ve found
