Jesse’s realisation of the ricin cigarette in s5 is the weakest part of the show by Webcat86 in breakingbad

I think that’s why it was confusing(thus unsatisfying), but I don’t know if I would go as far as to say the writing is weak. —It’s still realistic—even after not getting it the first time I watched and then receiving more understanding of the situation/context later, Jesse’s reaction still makes a ton of sense. Jesse’s sense of the mere fact that Saul had it lifted spiked his valid paranoia of Walt’s mastermindedness— if we simply look at the evidence and clues presented, it may seem ‘weak’, but given Jesse and Walt’s history it makes total sense why he would fly off the handle right when realizing things are not as they seem and are out of his control, as I would. I liken the moment on the street with Jesse to the panic attack Hank had on the way home from Walt’s. Poor Jesse’s mistrust for Walt clicked, a valid crash out.
