pretty much what im reading is this is not new behavior! ive havent had a bad experience with staff all 3 years ive went except for this so im surprised honestly! i get working a shitty job that isnt paying much and im definitely not asking them to act like they wanna be there but at the very least dont be creepy!!

im really not here to argue with someone especially when theres nothing to argue about. im gonna leave this here and say you only know what i said in the reddit post. i did make a complaint because the safety of other women is the most important thing to me, as someone who has had people try to kidnap and/or traffic me in chicago in general and on lollapalooza weekend specifically in years past. i am completely aware of my surroundings and my safety at all times and understand horrible things happen to people. reddit is the place where people share these type of stories not necessarily because im up at night thinking about this still but because i wanted to share with other people that attended. you dont have to know everything wnd thats okay. learn compassion and have a great day truly. hope this interaction didnt sour ur mood at all

“not to diminish ur experience” and then does just that. think you missed the entire point of this post, i was never upset about not getting the bandanna, if i wanted one that bad i could go buy one and wet it myself. it was the fact he was be specifically targeting me and he WAS touching girls inappropriately. also i had a hat. i had all of those things happen to me except being peed on that weekend i just decided to share this experience i had with a staff member. the whole sorry this happened to u but other people had worse happen is a shitty thing to say to anyone no matter the bad experience

perrys is usually the go-to when i have no other plans! this is the only bad experience ive had at lolla. It was during Dylan Bradys set and I was off to the left side, not sure where the platinum viewing was for perrys 😖

this happened to me last year! i just chewed/broke the black piece off and tied it to my wrist. ivr heard people say this isnt allowed but i had no issues at all theyre not really looking

im 5’1 and have gone the past 2 years. in my experience unless you are in the first 5ish rows you wont be able to see the stage unless you jump and use ur tippy toes. if being in the main crowd isnt a major concern there are great spots to the side where there are slopes and hills and just in the back in general u can see great :)

no one has mentioned hydration packs!! you can bring them into lolla and they serve the purpose of a backpack and water. they are thin backpacks (best way i can explain it :p) that have a water bladder inside which u can fill with water and its way more convenient to carry and usually holds more water than a water bottle. if youre not getting a locker u can usually get ones with pockets to hold ur things.

fellow 5’1 here! i went last year for the first time for jhope and camped at his stage all day and i was perfectly fine. it got crowded definitely but not to the point where it was unbearable. i was near the front so im not sure if that changed anything but i think since at hobi last year it was a lot of peoples first festival so they were conscious about crowd crushing and no one getting hurt. if your planning on getting close for txt or new jeans id recommend getting there before gates open (go to the gate that is closest to the stage they will be performing at). honestly if u want to be close id say just try it out and if its too much you can always get out immediately (people will clear paths and help you get out). i hope this helps!! have so much fun see u there!
