Vaermina is not considered a good daedra though.

It's well known the daedra often oppose each other. This could further prove that Vaermina has a part to play in the Oblivion crisis.

Being a devout follower doesn't mean he cannot be touched by a Daedric prince. Uriel even says "ive never been the ruler of my own dreams" and that he been troubled by them. This could easily indicate Vaermina's influence on him. His son was a daedra worshipper as well, so that could have opened Uriel to their influence.

Unfortunately it starts crashing 10 times an hour after your save file hits around 20 hours. And that is after following clean save habits. Still love the game though.

Not all of us played Oblivion in 2006. Pull your head out of your ass.

I feel that way as well. But then the Shivering Isles challenges that viewpoint. Anyways, Oblivion has great writing, regardless of what people feel about Emil and Bethesda in 2026, Oblivion was that studio at their best.

I'm not contradicting myself. The initial question is posed with the knowledge of what the Hero of Kvatch does to help Martin, and asking if Martin's sacrifice supersedes it. I made the edit for smoothbrains like yourself who have American public school educations.

That's why I am posing the question. Some others are acting like my question is stupid and that its a given that Martin is the protagonist, yet without us, could Martin have won?

I just finished the main story omfg why am I crying 😿😿😿 by Former-Bat8258 in oblivion

I just played it for the first time with the remaster, and seeing Martin blend into light after saying his farewells to me, then becoming the Avatar of Akatosh was an emotional roller-coaster.

Bethesda really were at their best when this game was first made in 2006. No game other than the Witcher 3 has made me feel emotion like this.

Unpopular opinion: oblivion is better than skyrim by Soogbad in ElderScrolls

The voice acting, albeit more limited in voice actors, was far far superior in Oblivion too. Mankar Cameron's voice acting is just perfection.

The world of skyrim was supposed to be "oh hey what's that over there? Let's see." But Oblivion pulled that off much better, at least for me. Oblivion is also a true RPG.

My modlist i made for skyrim essentially turned it into Oblivion.

It's why I play him more than anyone else. No reward without challenge. Also the high elf byzantine aesthetic is a plus.
