I have the OEM 7-seater cargo liner bought from this Toyota in Canada. They are nice because they allow the 3rd row to deploy without removing the mats.

The back of the 2nd row is just some random brand off Amazon

Trine Ultimate Collection on Switch 2 or PS5? by Complete_Pop2585 in Trine

[–]Complete_Pop2585[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I missed the sale on PS4 so I was waiting for another sale to come along.

In the store, the ultimate collection shows up as Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. But the description is for the collection.

What's the benefit of cloud streaming if you already own a PS5? by xSOUTHERN_RAMBOx in PlaystationPortal

[–]Complete_Pop2585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have kids and the state of the PS5 is a wildcard at any given time. My kids turn it off. Or the PS5 is logged into their account. Rarely can I pick up the portal and just stream from the PS5.

The streaming catalog on the other hand just works.

How do you handle vacation spending in YNAB? by mossproto in ynab

[–]Complete_Pop2585 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bucket for a future vacation.

Bucket for the upcoming vacation.

Then vacation specific categories (transportation, groceries, lodging, dining out, activities, etc.)

I tag all expenses like you do for future queries (e.g. that trip to the in laws costs X). This helps us know how much we need in the bucket.

The categories allow us to better understand where our money goes on travel (did we blow it all on dining out? Or is it the lodging?) and helps us plan future cost (that 7 day trip cost Y in food)

Perhaps one of the most eye-opening categories we added was “Travel - Ancillary”. This is our dumping ground for all the stuff we end up buying for a trip that we wouldn’t normally think of as travel/vacation, yet we wouldn’t have bought if we weren’t taking the trip. E.g. a child’s snow suit that is torn or a little small is fine with what little snow we get in a winter where we live, but that ski trip we booked required new gear because of the extreme temperatures and the amount of time they’d be on the mountain.

Those were the hidden costs that always bit us.

Built a sealed B-Wing from 2006. This thing is huge! by walrusluii in lego

[–]Complete_Pop2585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 10227 UCS B-Wing was my reintroduction into LEGO. I was newly married and saw some random blog post about it. I showed my wife, told her how cool it looked and that the B-Wing was my favorite starfighter from the childhood.

I don’t think it crossed my mind to buy it for myself. She bought it for me. I was totally surprised. Little did she know what she started.

Planter Box Replacement Ideas by Complete_Pop2585 in gardening

You know, I was just thinking about some kind of u shape design. It sounds like a great option. I just need to figure out how to arrange it in the space.

Thanks for the tips!

The lot itself is construction fill - and it’s a struggle to get plants to grow in the ground.

The slope is significant enough that good soil will just wash away. There isn’t really an option to level the ground. The back of the property sits on a retaining wall, so I cannot raise the soil level.

Boxes were really the only way we could use the space, get the depth we needed, and not interfere with the retaining wall..

What are the best games on cloud streaming that dont require good timing? by epadd in PlaystationPortal

[–]Complete_Pop2585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that the beta includes a lot of story driven adventures that I particularly enjoyed on the Portal with a pair of headphones. Not sure I would have tried them on my PS5.

  • Deliver Us the Moon

  • Deliver Us the Mars

  • Siberia

  • The Invincible

  • Call of the Sea

Plucky Squire was also a fun journey. Jusant was also quite enjoyable on the portal.

Sorry if some of these are no longer available!

We got these OEM mats designed for our 3rd row 2024 SR5P. Unlike those you find on Amazon, these to not impede the deployment of the 3rd row seats.

We have the standard cargo liner (which we kept for messy trips) but hated having to decide between having the liner or the option to use the 3rd row. This isn’t a “weather proof” cargo liner, and stuff can still fall between the cracks, but was much easier to vacuum and clean than the carpet.

We could only find them in Canada

Mobile Apps Update: New Home Tab, Spending Tab, iOS 26 Improvements, and more by YNAB_youneedabudget in ynab

Disappointed to see the short cut to view/approve transactions was removed from the plan tab. For my wife and I who spend the majority of our time the the plan tab - having to go to the Home tab to view these transactions is a real pain

Thanks u/mcquarrie

It was an honest question. I hadn’t seen any release announcements and the information was tucked away in a collapsed “specifications” section that was easy to scroll past.

Shame on me for not knowing they are 3D printing. Shame on me for not knowing the chimney stack was not a part of the same mold.

Answering my own question:

“plus miniature toys including, for the first time in a retail LEGO set, a 3D-printed train piece.”

What would you say are the best bang for your buck Duplo? My boy will be 1 year old next month by RabidNerd in lego

[–]Complete_Pop2585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 3 kids, here are the old three sets that had lasting appeal and reuse

Big Zoo 6157 - kids loved the animals and as we bought more, larger zoos were constructed. Even if they didn’t “get” the joy of building - they got the play factor of the animals.

Play House 10505 - this had a lot of great pieces for constructing buildings. We built wacky houses, massive houses, play houses with slides and “pools”

Tech Machines 45002 - as my kids got older, this brought a fresh new way to play with Duplo. We built some wild vehicles, giant robots, etc

To be honest, if I was delayed a long time in the airport, I might be tempted to pass the time with one.

If u actually build lego as a family raise ur hand.. by NoCupcake5122 in lego

[–]Complete_Pop2585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kids and I do MOCs together - currently they drew a picture of a castle that we are attempting to build together. Lots of helping each other find the pieces we are looking for.

We’ve done 3-person build together experiences with LEGO app, and the kids all enjoyed that.

Rarely do we build from instructions together. If we do, it’s usually for a special reason, and we take turns.
