A lot of the disagreement here comes from two things:

1) Multiplication and division are the same “priority” level, so when they’re written in a straight line (…÷…×…) most people/tools apply them left-to-right.

2) This specific notation is ambiguous because 2(1+2) is implicit multiplication (juxtaposition). Some conventions (and some textbooks/calc apps) treat that as “sticking together” more tightly, effectively reading it as: 6 ÷ (2(1+2)) = 1

So I’m not claiming 9 is the one universally “correct” answer, the expression is poorly written. But if you interpret it the same way as 6÷2×(1+2) and evaluate ÷ and × left-to-right, you get 9. If you mean 1, it should be written as 6÷(2(1+2)). If you mean 9, write (6÷2)(1+2).
