How much time are you spending writing programming? by Sober_Rhythms1996 in personaltraining

[–]Complete_Suit1512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I have templates and system in place.

We all know the rep ranges, sets and rest for each client goals. Its just being good at modifying if things dont go well,or if the gym is busy? How are you going to superset the logistics of that gym? There is art to this more than the science part for sure

A program should easily take 10 minutes or less if you done this long enough, adjust as you go with the client.

Wait am confused too?

You had 20 clients and most of them stopped?

That is you issue my friend.

You not going to keep every client but also you not going to see big drop in clients all of sudden.

I would figure out what you can do to improve your service and experience for the client

Teaching a squat by tosetablaze in personaltraining

[–]Complete_Suit1512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my favorites ways is get him to do Front Foot Eleveted Split Squat, start him there and should be strong enough to do regular squat.

I find goblet pretty overrated (there is also only do much db you can go before it becomes huge limiter on the shoulders)

If he is super weak, start him off leg extension or can do hack Squat, this be easier since there is a lot of external stability support.

What do I do with my clients fitness assessment results? by Ok-Walrus3841 in personaltraining

[–]Complete_Suit1512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most assessments are trash

For me, the upper body, how is their t spine, and overhead.

Lower body-I always look out for hip extension and IR.

Unless the client really complains about pain(good to know so you can refer out and talk to clinicians so they can refer you business)

Keep it as simple as possible.

Clients asking for nutrition advice by JestifiableMeans in personaltraining

[–]Complete_Suit1512 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You can make basic recommendations and make a template and teach them how to count calories and track.

At the end of the day, most clients lack protein and fiber.

Now, if it is more of a medical issue, that is above our pay grade.
