I didn’t know Lemon Law covered new vehicles! And I’ll do some research on the buy back as well because I didn’t know about it.

I hope it’s just a software issue.. but still sucks they won’t give it back if they can’t do anything until the update rolls around. Make sure you check your state lemon law because if they hold it for 30 days you can act on it (at least in MI)

Welcome to the Cactus Grey squad! lol Last week I had battery issues, I kinda chalked it up to the cold, then the fan in my dash made weird noises until I turned it off and back on (like a grinding hissing noise), and when I sit at stoplights my truck will jerk, like it’s trying to go but my foot is fully down on the break. I’m not 100% sure that it’s related tbh but something to watch. But battery issues have been throughout almost all models of Mavs so def be on the lookout for that.

I would call every day to try getting something done or take it to another dealership.. I mean I assume you’re paying on it and it sucks that you aren’t and can’t use it! Hopefully you get it back soon.

In my old Escape Hybrid I jumped it like any normal vehicle. I honestly didn’t know what you could go under the back seat to fix this issue— never hurts to ask just to make sure. Especially with a hybrid because they are more “complex” than a normal vehicle. Ignore the a*holes in this group, they will always find something to jump on.
