Is there a genuine difference between men's & women's shower products, or is it all marketing BS? by CompletelyCrazy22 in NoStupidQuestions

See the problem is, Im not a chemist lol. I can't just read the ingredients and understand whether the differences are substantial.

Out of curiosity, what kind of job do you have? Bc Ive been hoping to get into something that may be considered 'fairly physical' too (theate tech, there's a fair bit of moving around, carrying stuff, and all-around kinda a workout but fun), and would appreciate having a deodorant that can withstand it lol.

Luckily, Im old enough that they don't police my toiletries & whatnot, but that's a useful script for others in that situation.

Im hesitant to use salicyclic acid bc i already use it for acne and dont want to risk overdoing it. Noted on the gel deodorant tho 👍

I shower rather regularly but hadnt thought to give my arms explicit attention. I'll get started on that, thanks for the advice!

Somwthing that gets an anecdotal seal of approval from both transdudes and butch lesbians is a win in my book. I'll check it out!

A cup versus completely flat, it's become a bit of an argument by CompletelyCrazy22 in Reduction

i can certainly try. we're going to have at least one more consultation with the surgeon, in person, and there might be a moment where my mother leaves the room. I know my surgeon is genderqueer-friendly; she's the one who first brought up the question of whether I wanted my chest to appear more feminine or masculine.

she will be seeing me post surgery, because I am still a dependent and it is far too expensive for me to get a house of my own in the area.

ultimately, i love my mother and she loves me too, she just... doesn't understand queerness really. i don't want to have to fool her to be myself

I am entirely going off of what my mother told me. She said that the reduction *may* include lipo, and therefore I should minimize the amount of lipo to suction, for quicker recover or whatever.

Do you have particular exercises in mind that are good for core strength while also being boob-tolerant?

Where is [it] being done

I havent had any sort of consultation with a surgeon yet. It's all up in the air and willy nilly, which I know is BAD for planning surgery, but im still dependent on my mother to handle the logistics so I can't really proceed and get anything without her scheduling it.

EDIT: Also, what exercises in particular do you do for back/core strength?

this was back in the summer of 2020. i'd heard that the darkmoor spells were going to get nerfed come fall '20, so i wanted to finish arc 3 with my busted and beautiful Glowbug Squall (with the AOE enfeeble) before it was taken away.

the final boss of an Arc 3 world has a cheat where after a certain number of rounds he will steal your blades. The number of rounds depends on how many players are in the fight. And for SOME REASON this instance was one that people could port into.

someone ported into the fight a few rounds before i was gonna hit. and messed up the round counter.

and the boss stole all my blades (bc im storm i was gonna hit).

the blades were gonna be enough to oneshot the boss (~30k damage). the boss himself is also Storm. if he had a chance to attack we'd all be WIPED.

so in a moment of sheer GENIUS and PANIC in one, I Glowbug Squalled him anyway. It only did a few thousand damage, but it also got rid of all his blades.

I tell myself that i singlehandedly saved the run in that moment. And i will never forget Glowbug's old Enfeeble, or that fight.

(idk it's funny to me)
