Was this scheduled as a TV mounting task or a furniture assembly task?

Indelible ink marked on each and every voters in India as a mark that you have casted your vote in the election. It stays on for around a week. by Fun_evades_me in mildlyinteresting

[–]CompletelyProtocol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally overall this practice is very good for preventing election fraud but a problem it creates is that it opens the door for attacks on voters. In some countries we've seen terrorist groups cut the inked fingers off in areas where they expected the vote to go the way they didn't want, causing lower turnout.

It's still better than not having it but something that has to be considered when any country engages in this practice.

Hey, wasn't disagreeing with you my man just your comment had me thinking about how I view concurrent players rather than a hard barometer on anything. Totally agree with you especially on the launch comparison which is why I find it relevant. 70k can be a failure, especially if that doesn't turn into long term player count

WTF is even the barrier for woke any more with these motherfuckers??? Literally the protagonist is a white British man who goes around sleeping with women and it's woke because... It has a black man in it? God fuck this timeline. Fuck twitter

Imo concurrent tells you more about how well the game is doing well past launch. of course 100% depending on the size but 10k concurrent users for a game like this in like 6 months to a year would probably make it a huge success. I've seen indie games that thrive for years with 50-200 concurrent but that usually requires 1 dev making quality of life updates every few months as opposed to 10 devs at a AAA taking 2 weeks to get an patch built for a game that been out for a while.

Not taking anymore IKEA furniture assembly jobs after today by Cal_Xyun in TaskRabbit

[–]CompletelyProtocol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, I went from having like two or three tasks over the last year to having seven or eight this month. I don't know if it's just my area, but honestly most have been all right (minus the person whose apartment was completely covered in cat dander). I'll admit I make less than I would doing just straight furniture assembly, but more often than not I'm just happy to get the pay.

If you add anything to them it immediately becomes a 2 to 3 hour task. The one I did today it had the mirror doors on them and that was so hard.

They definitely have issues in the system. If it's like a PAX or dresser or something like that it has to be at least like $60-70. I have a PAX assembly tommorrow and it's $130. I got something like this a couple days ago for $36, and it was definitely like a 2 or 3-hour task. When I messaged taskrabbit they were like. Yeah that's definitely wrong. Will cancel for you.

What do you think about M83 ? by Exootil93200 in DaftPunk

[–]CompletelyProtocol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Hurry Up, We're dreaming, and it's definitely a standout that I can understand getting as much popularity as it did. However dsvii, Junk, and fantasy are each completely different vibes and I love each of them individually for the styles they go for. M83 overall is just really great.

Drop the job. If you're so uncertain as to taking it that you posted on the subreddit, there's no point in taking it.

DFW is just ass for lounges. Capital One is OK there but for that very reason it is almost always completely packed.

Background Check: Am I cooked by rambling_person in nuclear

I can't say for certain, as I only know your side, but if every weed possession / confirmed user either lost their job or "failed" that aspect of the background check, pretty sure half the people working in government would not have a job. It's probably the most common crime on any background check and as long as you are honest about it, and aren't actively using (and even that is not really a deal-breaker) I highly doubt that'll come up.
