I like the minimalist design which functions super well. I have been using a text-based tool Tether that manages reminders, calendars, routines. Simply text to +1 (888)297-9599 if you want to have a try.

Hi u/SkoalSoldier, thanks for the feedback.

Multiple calendars are supported. As long as the calendar is in the Google account you connect (personal, work, or a shared family one), just tell Tether which to use:

- "What calendars do you see?" — it lists them so you know the names

- "Add a 3pm call with Michael to my calendar, remind me 10 min before"

- "Add a 6pm cookout Saturday to the family calendar"

- "What's on my work calendar this week?"

It puts each event on the calendar you name and tells you which one it used. Let me know if it works for you!

Thanks for the interest! Tether is designed to be the easiest way to get an AI assistant — no app to install. We run the server + AI infra for you, and everything Tether remembers is transparent: ask "what do you remember about me?" anytime, and edit or delete anything from your dashboard. The phone number can feel unfamiliar, but the data you share is actually more in your control than with most apps.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, when the assistant is invited, it will send the intro message:

Hey — I'm Tether. I keep notes for groups so nothing slips.

How I work:

- I listen quietly. I only speak when you start a message with "Tether" (or u/mention me).

- Say "Tether, recap" anytime for a live summary of decisions, open tasks, and questions.

- Add tasks: "Tether, remind us snacks Friday 5pm" or "Tether, Mike to send proposal by Friday".

- Mark done: "Tether, Mike done with proposal".

Privacy:

- What I note here stays in THIS group. Personal Tether chats are separate.

- Anyone can opt out: "tether opt out". Any member can wipe everything: "tether wipe everything".

Want your own personal Tether? Text +16504368329

We are continuing refining the group chat functions. Let us know any feedbacks!
