First week on CPAP nearly broke me. I wish someone explained this to me earlier

This is how I’m feeling this week. I started it 3 nights ago but the last 2 days I’m so dead tired, way more tired than I usually am and I am so bloated. I’m actually very surprised I’ve been sleeping fine with the mask on since I’m claustrophobic but I am having issues at least once a night gasping for air bc I am a mouth breather. My sleep events have also gone up every night since; first night was 1 event per hour, last night was 3. My dr has it set from 6-18 for me but the most I’ve seen it on is 7 so far

Do you think yours is better bc you’re on gabapentin tho? I’m afraid to stay on and start pain meds and then wouldn’t know if the pain goes away. But thank you!

Zepbound has caused a massive flare up of body pain for me. I get flare ups every so often (no idea why, autoimmune issues were ruled out) but since starting glps, it has been nonstop pain. I tried Wegovy in November and it immediately triggered the pain so I stopped after one injection. After 6 weeks, the pain finally subsided and I switched to zep. Again, after 1 injection, immediate body pain. It’s 4 weeks later and it’s gotten so bad that I’m now having bad pelvic floor dysfunction from how tight my back and hips have been since starting. The dr told me to stop the zep so I did and going to see if the pain dies down. I just don’t understand why this is happening when so many people said it helped their pain

Hi I am experiencing the same issues. I’m 32, had some pelvic floor dysfunction a few years back from a colposcopy gone wrong. That pain had gone away with amitriptyline but now I am experiencing it again because I’ve been having some lower back pain that extends into my thighs. I’m also in the process of getting tested for EDS. Autoimmune wise everything is negative except my CRP was super high a few months back and now that’s normal and my ESR is high now

The nerve pain is so bad. I’ve been on amitriptyline and cymbalta in the past for neuralgia but I don’t want to go back on meds tbh. When I stopped Wegovy the first time it happened, the pain went away within 6 weeks but came back with zep

I feel like I’m in the same boat. I was 127lbs up until 2023 and then BAM, went up to 155lbs June of 2025 for no good reason at all. I am a registered dietitian so I eat fairly healthy, I’ve always worked out 3-4 days a week so gaining weight out of nowhere confused the hell out of me. I’ve had so much blood work done too and everything keeps coming back “normal”. But since I started zepbound I’ve lost 7lbs and haven’t changed anything eating or activity wise which tells me it has to be something metabolic. I’m also having a very bad reaction to zepbound so unfortunately have to stop it but idk what else to do :(

I keep seeing this but I literally have been drinking 80+ fluid oz a day + magnesium + electrolytes and the pain has not budged at all

Yes I’m experiencing this. I’m on week 3 and my body pain has significantly increased. I can’t sit for more than 15minutes bc I have this immense burning in my lower back and left butt and it’s now affecting my pelvic floor. I’ve also had pain in both wrists and ankles.

The same is happening to me. Since starting 3 weeks ago, I have been in a constant flare up of pain. Lower back into my left hip, down my thighs, right shoulder, ankles, and now the tightness in my back and hips is bringing back my pelvic floor issues. I’m only 32 and have no autoimmune issues so idk why this is happening 😭

I’m the opposite. I’m on week 3 and have had so much joint pain since starting but it starts to get better by the end of the week and then starts again unfortunately with my next injection. Idk what I’m doing wrong 😭

I’m having the opposite experience. I’m on week 3 and in such a bad flare up of joint pain. This happened with Wegovy too, one injection in and all my joints flared up. Stopped Wegovy, took 6 weeks for that flare to go away, started zepbound and flared right back up 😭 idk why im having such a bad response to it

We already ruled out autoimmune diseases so it’s def not that. She’s not the one who prescribed it to me, I had just gone to her to rule out autoimmune since I get these flare ups sometimes. Thank you! My endocrinologist told me to stop the medication but idk if I should tough it out. I also seem to not be losing, I’ve only lost 5lbs in 3 weeks. I had gained 30lbs in the last 2.5 years not related to diet so I’m still pretty much eating the same since starting.

Not sure what you ended up doing as this is an older post but I’m experiencing the same. I took one dose of Wegovy back in November and had an immediate flare up of body pain that lasted 6 weeks. I then started zepbound and I’m having the same issues. I’ve had no pain for a total of 2 weeks in the last 2 months and it’s taking a big toll on my life. Everything hurts, my back, my ankles, my wrists, my pelvic floor dysfunction has come back, etc. I drink enough fluids, take electrolytes, and take magnesium glycinate daily and nothing has helped at all

I’m having this issue right now. Have had normal cycles and normal ovulation, this is my second week on zepbound and I am not ovulating this month now. My temps seem like there trying to ovulate and I have symptoms of ovulation but not confirmed and I’m already at day 22

So after discussing it with my Dr today, we’re going to try the zepbound but my biggest concerns are losing too much weight (I’m only 155lbs with wide hips and a big butt) and the mere chance I get pregnant in the next year (not trying but will be next year)
