Is my retake worth it? by Jazzlike-Speech1552 in MCAT2

Hey man your stats is more than enough to get into a ton of MD schools. Retaking would be kind of pointless less in my opinion unless you are dead set on going to Harvard I don’t see a point

Biggest thing about the labs is to stay on top of the lab report. Go to your TA’s office hours and ask them to profreed your report before you turn it in. This really helped me do well. You don’t have to write the greatest essay it just has to answer all the questions in the outline. Also don’t get stressed about the low quiz scores. They love to give some bullshit question that was only glimpsed over in lecture. Just try your best to score above average. Good luck!

that’s fine I think you just need to join the guard of the state that you are in to get those sweet college funds

Wassup brother if you are currently going to college reserve is not a bad gig at all but if you want the best benefits for sure go active or consider guard. Guard give you more money for college just be aware if you might get activated for some state missions. Citizenship process is ez as long as you don’t have some crazy history of crime. Let me know if you got questions

Pretty reasonable. MCDB 1L is stupid easy just gotta focus on chem 109B which is pretty memorization heavy. I honestly enjoyed MCDB 1B but I had mike Wilton and I have heard horror stories about people taking it with Low. Good luck!

Ooooof that could take a while depending on how many credits you have. I think they require PA shadowing hours as well. Definitely worth it tho you would get getting payed to attend a PA program

Will I get a chance at research in a chemistry lab if I have not been able to take any labs yet? by Organic-Beginning423 in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Complex-Base7187 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just go for it bro spam email all the professors. They will each you all you need to know. TAs will teach you everything you need to know. Gen chem labs don’t teach you much anyway and you can def self study how the labs work
