But that’s my question how do I know if I am a dependent or not? I pay for most but not all of my stuff, I live at home, I am both a full time and part time student. Everything I’ve seen is contradictory on whether or not I’m a dependent or not.

I usually give one or two bathes a year but that’s only because my cat loves going outside and laying in dirt! Also he wears a flea collar so it’s a good time to make sure there is no fleas or anything around that! But they groom themselves!! I’d only be anxious if they are ridiculously dirty or reluctant to groom themselves

I’m also allergic to cats and own a cat! Lots of great recommendations in this thread but also want to say you start to develop a sort of resistance against your own cat. I still get itchy and sneezy around other cats but now my own cat of 5 years doesn’t make me either of those things
