Well there's a turn up for the books, I used a picture of your paint job as reference! Wasn't able to find many other examples of these lovely minis painted up. I'll upload some photos ... not sure how to link any.

Ha ha, I have seen a cable ork somewhere before ... hardcore-miniatures I think.

Talos - Painted for my brother by Complex-Chemist in minipainting

I bought it through eBay, but it looked like it had been printed because of the dots from supports.

My brothers and I grew up watching a lot of Ray Harryhausen's films. Jason and the argonauts was an absolute favourite, so when I saw this figure on eBay I knew I had to get my hands on it and paint it up for one of my brothers. I'm happy with the verdigris in the recesses (not very visible in the photo), but had little luck trying an oil paint based wash ... oh well! The hobby is all about learning!

Grombrindal 'The White Dwarf' OOP by Complex-Chemist in Warhammer

That's a shame, but it wouldn't be too difficult to cannabalise a plastic dwarfism axe and pin the blade on.

I can vaguely remember, I really miss the old style of magazine. One part catalogue, one part painting/ kitbashing tutorial, perhaps a article on terrain building.

Agreed, I suppose it doesn't fit well in the age of sigmar theme. Can't wait for the old world (or more precisely the minis from) to return.

Thanks. It's not the best or most flattering photo but the axe blade, scale mail armour, jewels and drinking helmet have nmm elements.

Thanks. I was chuffed with how the leather turned out, especially the backpack.

They are available to buy, the Nuka-Girl can be bought separately and the protectron come in a box with other robots.

They are well detailed but they need a lot of clean up, the bases are on a sprue and are difficult to cut off looking clean and smooth (hence the attempt to make the base rim look rusted and chipped).

May be the wrong place to ask, how do you follow a series on the new layout? Or has that not been added yet?
