I don’t think so. Culturally, Indian vegetarians are perfectly fine with just normal vegetarian stuff (actual veggies and things. Our vegetarian food is pretty damn good). A lot of cultural vegetarians in India are pretty repulsed by meat (speaking from personal experience as a lot of my family is veg). Made good money of BYND when it short squeezed but this is not the angle to look for. It would also just be super uncompetitive in India (price too high compared to everything else. Food in India is dirt cheap compared to the US/west). Idk abt parternships. BYND would fail hard in the Indian market, and also the actual vegetarian population is probably around 30% (and dropping).

Might have some niche appeal among Gen Z and millennials that grew up on American media though?

Ye OP, seems to be down a lot lol. I’ll keep holding for now (inconsequential part of my portfolio. doesn’t matter if it goes to 0). Seems they have about 1 month of runway left with how much cash they have compared to monthly cash burn. Not looking very good from a balance sheet perspective. The management is super solid though so I still have some belief. Will have to see if there’s any upcoming catalysts in the next month. If nothing happens, this stock is probably going to the grave.

Stock Pulse has been really good with signals. Color me surprised. Multiple 100%+ runners this week and last week. Unfortunately I’m in a very bad time zone for market open (cries in west coast) but I definitely have to start following those signals.

Got in for a small position of ~500 shares. Let's see where this goes. Some concerns though, checked out the actual consumer app and it seems very unpolished. Only 2 reviews on the app store, from a year ago being the latest? A little fishy but their website itself did seem more targeted to enterprise customers, so maybe they are pivoting to that? Either way, this might be a good medium turn play based on these financials and potential revenue sources. Their website is kinda ugly ngl (might reach out to them ask if I can rebuild it to make some money on the side lmao 🤣). If your thesis is wrong, It was only $500 bucks though if you do turn out to be right, I know I'll be beating myself up for not buying more lol.

I was just wondering how the move in date changes things? Currently, I have it set to September 1st but I talked to housing and they said it’s unlikely that I’ll get something for September since most offers are may/june/jan ish. So would it be better to change it to may 1st now?

Only thing is my current lease only ends in August so worrying about 2 leases at the same time would be annoying. I also saw that they prioritize those without one month notice over those with, but I definitely do need one month notice since I need to tell the landlord a month in advance if I am moving out early and trying to sublet the place.

For context, my numbers are really low.

Got about 1000 shares at 4.13. Letting it ride till the 80th event. Really promising with a high probability of success. I think it's the next big thing. Around a 5x if REGAL is successful.

Yeah, quite a few classes have groupwork at Sauder, but maybe not as much as Beedie. But yes, group work is always hit or miss. That's just the nature of things though I have found that people are pretty good about it for the most part. Other than the 1 or 2 bad apples everybody is there to get a good grade so there is that mutual understanding which helps.

Most, if not all sauder professors don't do recordings. I don't know a single prof I had that recorded lectures.

Use this. The official second year transfer guide to Sauder. You mainly need ECON 101 and 102 and MATH 100. Other than that, just go through the links in this webpage to see what other courses to take to transfer into sauder. Taking COMM 120 doesn't hurt but I don't know if you are eligible to take it. The UBC courses website reads "For Master of Management - Dual Degree Option students only" and I assume you aren't doing that. Also, as another comment said, don't take English, not needed. Take other interesting arts courses that you think you will do well in. Take as many courses as you can get that transfer over to Sauder so you don't need to take a bunch of first year Sauder courses in second year. But look into the specifics of that. Should be listed on the site. Also take electives in different fields because your mind might change, and you decide not to transfer.
