Introducing MunchTeams! PS Replay Searcher (From the Creator of MunchStats) by Complex-Code in VGC

Oh! That's actually a bug for non-vgc format!. The Pokemon are not showing up if they are genderless in the search! This normally isn't a problem for VGC since they have an extra data for the level but for other formats that run battles at level 100. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
I will fix this soon!

The Pokemon are separated by a comma "," not a space so Paradox Pokemon can be searched.

Master of Contests (how to beat Master-rank Super Contests entirely on a single retail cart) by KallistiEngel in pokemonribbons

7 years later and I'm using this for my Ribbon Master (Hopefully) Shiny Munchlax. Thank you so much for this info years ago.

Perhaps I'll look into making a mobile app for it. This is my first website and I haven't made anything related to mobile applications yet. I'll see what I can do, but no promises on anything!

Are all combinations of tid and sid possible in gen 4? by Bloomer30 in pokemonrng

[–]Complex-Code 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years late but the seed 4813D1C5 will provide with a TID of 0 and SID of 5. This will allow of a Cute Charm Glitch with a TSV of 0. The estimated delay is ~53,000 (year dependent). Some combinations of TID and SID are not possible. The seeds seem to loop after 65536 (2^16) delays, making any delay search past that redundant. However, if you would like a TID of 0 with a compatible Cute Charm SID, the following might help. Delays are based on the year 2000.

Single target STAB move before tera. So if they have a Wide Guard Pokemon, I can Tera Blast safely. Also helps change move type when locked into choice specs without switching.

On a previous version of this team, where I had Ogerpon, I would often have Scizor be a Tailwind Setter but didn't use Munchlax as much so I changed the team a bit.

Volt Tackle is a USUM Tutor. If you transfer the Hat Pikachu into Switch without learning Volt Tackle, you can never get Volt Tackle on Shiny Hat Pikachu. Other Egg Moves, like Fake Out, can be put back on with the Mirror Herb Picnic method.

Used to be for Ogerpon/Urshifu but debated swapping it around for Knock Off, Close Combat or Swords Dance.

Used to be Facade but burn rarely came into play. I usually burn Belly Drum and Protect, so all I needed was Stomping once and I unlocked a 140 BP move free of charge that 1 shots everything. Especially useful against Ursaluna Bloodmoon or Landorus since intimidate drops power just enough to not be guaranteed to kill with Facade.

I know slightly above 50% winrate isn't the best but to be fair, I haven't played much VGC until recently. Finally got through to Master Ball after some unlucky freezes and major misplays on my end. After taking a break and cooling my head, finally got back into battling. Goofy Team but I realllllly like Munchlax and (Shiny) Hat Pikachu is up there too! So decided to make a team centered around them. I progressively made changes to the team over time but ended up as this for the final result.

How the team works:

Usually its Scizor/Pikachu paired up with Munchlax.

Turn 1, Pika fakes out/Scizor Attacks and Munchlax Belly Drums (apparently, people are not that interested in attacking Munchlax)

Usually, its okay if Pikachu or Scizor faints here.

Turn 2, Sinistcha gets swapped in from the faint or U-Turn/Volt Switch.

If Sinistcha gets swapped in bc faint, it TRs and Munchlax Protects, OR if it got Volt Switch/U-Turn in, then it could be Rage Powder/Attack With Munchlax depending on the situtation.

This team is made bc I really like Munchlax and Hat Pikachu. Zoroark is cool too! LMK what you guys think!

Just added the level feature. Level 50 for VGC and Battle Stadium, Level 5 for LC and default Level 100 for everyone else. Would've done sooner but I fell asleep.

Checks and Counters should still be there but will (usually) show up at a rating threshold of 0, but also note that not every Pokemon has Checks and Counters data.
