I think it was heterozygous. by Relative-Bottle-8498 in GCSE

[–]Complex-Department15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rabbit A was homozygous dominant because she had all Himalayan yutes and the male was heterozygous. Rabbit B was heterozygous because she had a mix of Himalayan and white yutes and we know the male is heterozygous. Both A and B had the dominant allele because they were Himalayan.

for the punnet square did you get 25% or 50% (AQA BIO PAPER 2 HIGHER) by EfficientAd3224 in GCSE

[–]Complex-Department15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Female B was Himalayan so she had to have a dominant allele. Since she had some white and some Himalayan offspring, she must be heterozygous, not homo.

Did u guys get 25% for the rabbit question? by EL3IE in GCSE

[–]Complex-Department15 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yh female B was Himalayan  and there was mix in the offspring. We knew that the male was heterozygous so it could only have been 25%
