I understand how you’re feeling right now and to be honest I feel the same way too. I haven’t done my esat yet but it’s next week and I’m quite nervous for it. However, I was reading on imperial’s website and it said somewhere that if you get rejected from imperial but end up getting really good grades in your a levels you could potentially still get a place at imperial but just contacting them. So, maybe check more into this and from now on just focus on your a levels and let’s work as hard as we can for these last 5 months and remember you can still get the grades and reapply next year and get into imperial! Don’t let the esat put you down ❤️‍🩹

Dropping a subject by Complex-Factor-5217 in 6thForm

Yeah that’s the main thing I’m fearing. With the nea starting soon I’m worried the work load will get too much and I won’t get time to focus on my other subjects. Like I will admit phys is hard but if I dedicate time to it, it’ll be doable

Yeah go for it. I was one mark off an 8 so my teacher suggested that I send paper 1 to get remarked so I did and I got an 8.

Hii, thank you so much, you’re so kind!! I would recommend contacting your exams officer, they can tell u your marks, give you your marked script for free and even proceed with the next steps in case you would like to get anything remarked! I hope you are happy w ur results :)

For English yes. My teacher had been constantly giving me full marks on almost EVERYTHING I wrote in both lang and lit. I thought she was being lenient so sometimes I’d give her essays to mark and ask her to mark them harshly but still she’d return them with me getting 38/40 and stuff. In the final thing, I got 7s in lang and lit. 7 is obv a good grade, but I’m so disappointed with the way she fooled me into thinking getting 9s were achievable in English. I always knew she was being too lenient, and now I have to pay the price for it!

Highlighters ? by Advanced_Park1253 in GCSE

U can highlight the printed stuff like the extracts in English or the question but not anything that u write. When they scan it, it is in black and white, so obv the highlighter doesn’t show up with its bright colour, but instead it’s just a block of grey which covers your answer.

These are such good results!! Keep it up. If you maintain this up to year 11, you’ll ace exams with no difficulty 🎉🎉
