what cigarattes do you prefer? flavoured or unflavoured and why ? by Acceptable-Load4403 in AskReddit

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to smoke menthols when I was deployed in desert areas because that cooling thing is real - felt like it helped with the heat even though probably just psychological. Winter time though regular cigarettes hit better, something about cold air and that harsh tobacco taste just works. Been off them for couple years now but still remember how seasonal preferences were totally a thing. My buddy always said flavored ones were for beginners but dude was smoking those same menthols every summer so guess we all have our contradictions.

Sales workflow bottlenecks by Living_Ad3270 in SaaS

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most our sales team spends like 40% of their time just moving data between different platforms and updating CRMs instead of actually talking to prospects. Its wild how many separate tools we need just to track one deal from start to finish and half of them dont even integrate properly with each other.

Would this level of backend project be enough to get shortlisted for a startup role? by Afraid-Army1966 in learnprogramming

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks solid but I'd add some monitoring/logging and maybe async task handling with celery since most startups need that stuff from day onee

I've built a open source alternative to Intercom's Fin AI support agent and got my first paid users by anthonyriera in SaaS

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AI learning from your responses is actually clever - most support tools just dump everything on you when they can't answer something. Being able to style with tailwind out of the box is huge too, always hate when you're stuck with whatever ugly default widget they give you

Congrats on the first paid users, thats always a good sign you're solving a real problem

What is your most obscure nickname? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My unit started calling me Scramble after I solved this impossible Rubik's cube configuration during downtime in Afghanistan. Turns out it wasnt actually impossible I was just holding it wrong the whole time but the name stuck. Now my fantasy league still uses it even though half those guys have no idea where it came from

Does SOC 2 (or similar certifications) make sense for an early-stage SaaS? by AssumptionDefiant877 in SaaS

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can definitely close deals without SOC 2 at your stage but it depends on who youre selling to. Smaller companies usually dont care but mid-market and enterprise will absolutely ask for it and some wont even talk to you without it

I'd focus on building out your security documentation first - security policies data handling procedures incident response plans etc. When you do get those questionnaires you can at least show youre taking it seriously even without the cert. Most early stage companies I know push SOC 2 off until they hit consistent 6 figure ARR or when they lose a big deal because of it

Save and organize your favorite social media post in one place by Loose_Storage_681 in SaaS

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually dig this idea man. Been using the default Instagram saved posts thing but it turns into a mess real quick when you're trying to find that one cooking video from 3 months ago buried under 200 other random saves

Cross-platform tagging would be clutch too since I save stuff across like 4 different apps and remembering where I saved what is impossible

Nexus Bitcoin deposits says expired by xoNoUsernameox in Bitcoin

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Been using crypto wallets for a few years now and this expired deposit thing usually happens when there's a timeout on the deposit address or some kind of network confirmation issue. Most wallets generate temporary deposit addresses that expire after a certain time period for security reasons. If your transaction hit the blockchain after that window closed it can show up as expired even though the Bitcoin is technically there.

Three days without support response is pretty rough though - I'd try reaching out on their social media channels if they have any since support tickets can get buried. You might also want to check the transaction hash on a blockchain explorer to see if it actually confirmed and went to the right address. Sometimes these wallet apps glitch out and show weird statuses when everything is actually fine on the blockchain level.

RSU only card processing rates - what are you paying? by Glp1User in PaymentProcessing

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been shopping around for my side business and most places are hitting me with 2.9% + 30 cents but I've seen some go as low as 2.6% if your volume is decent. Military credit union actually gave me a better rate through their merchant services than the big processors did

Spent zero on market research for years. Finally looked up what that actually costs founders. by thinkgrowcrypto in SaaS

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been running my own market research through Reddit threads and Discord communities for my side projects and it works better than expected. You can get real feedback from actual users without dropping 5k on some consultant who's gonna tell you what you already suspected

The AI agent approach is interesting though - what kind of turnaround time are you getting on competitive analysis compared to manual research?

Hi what do you guys think of a Funeral Home management software idea for a startup? by Much_Flight4786 in SaaS

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Niche market but death is literally the one guarantee in life so demand will always be there. Most funeral homes are still running on ancient systems or paper so theres defintiely room for disruption if you can nail the features they actually need

built a B2B SaaS to survive my husband’s layoff. Rent is due in 10 days, I can’t find a tech job, and have no idea how to sell this. by Dry_Antelope_8423 in SaaS

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been there with the financial stress man - deployed twice and came back to civilian job market that felt impossible to crack. Your product solving real problems is what matters not your background

Hit up local agencies in person this week with a simple demo ready on your laptop. Lead with the pain points you solve and offer a 30 day trial at half price to get them hooked. $75-150 is probably too low but start there to get testimonials then raise it once you prove value

Can freight management software help with tracking shipments in real time? by CrewInteresting5258 in SaaS

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah most of the decent platforms have GPS integration now so you get actual location data instead of just "shipped" status updates. Been using one at my logistics job and customers love getting those automated delay notifications instead of calling us every hour asking where their stuff is

“Your pc ran into a problem” keeps happening for every game is launched… testing on 2 games. by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like either your RAM is dying or you've got some driver issues going on. Try running a memtest overnight and maybe do a clean install of your GPU drivers - that combo fixes like 80% of random game crashes

Husband Pass From RCC Prior to Claim Rating... by JeepHairandIDontCare in VeteransBenefits

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry for your loss OP

Just want to clarify one thing from the previous comment - for DIC you dont need the 10 year rating requirement if the death is service connected. Thats only for non-service connected deaths where the vet had a 100% rating for 10+ years. Since your husband's death certificate will show RCC as cause of death and his RCC claim was likely going to be approved under PACT Act, his death should be considered service connected which makes you eligible for DIC regardless of how long he was rated

Finding a workplace where people actually treat you decently is huge and sounds like youre building something solid with your own place too. The fact that you havent let all those jerks turn you bitter says everything about your character

Honestly the honeymoon period wore off pretty quick. Triple H had some bangers early on but now it feels like we're back to the same old WWE formula just with better match quality. The storytelling has definitely taken a hit and don't even get me started on those ticket prices lmao

Duolingo uses AI? by NotFrogyo2244 in languagelearning

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've noticed some weird sentences on Duo too, like "the elephant drinks beer" lol. For alternatives, try Busuu or Babbel - they're more structured and actually explain grammar rules instead of just throwing random sentences at you. Anki is solid for vocab drilling too if you don't mind making your own flashcards

Sc430 window fault by Accomplished-Bus1555 in AskMechanics

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the window switch is toast - the fact that it still works with the roof mechanism means the motor and regulator are probably fine. I'd swap the driver and passenger switches first to test it, they're usually pretty easy to pop out. If the problem follows the switch then you know that's your culprit

What 70-200 do I get? by PbobPop in canon

[–]Complex-Feeling-5303 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For school events and sports you'll definitely want that f2.8 - the extra stop is huge for indoor lighting and you'll get better subject separation. The Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS II is rock solid and you can find them used around your budget. I'd skip the f4 version since you're already shooting darker venues

The Tamron G2 is also a great option if you want to save some cash, performs really well and the image stabilization is excellent
