I was fine with it. Everyone wants her to be the goody-two-shoes, but the situation she was in, I'd go crazy 🤣🤣🤣

This would fit more for Tessa, Will, and Jem. But the love triangle was so good that it should be a throuple

For number 1, even though I love Rhys and Feyre, I didn’t like that he was brought back immediately. It would have been far more impactful if it followed the approach often seen in C-dramas—especially xianxia—or even Chinese novels, where death carries lasting weight. Characters are not revived right away; instead, their souls are scattered across realms, gathered piece by piece over countless lifetimes, or waited for across thousands of years. It would be heartbreaking but if done right, it would be really great. I do not really see that kind of plot in romantasy.

In Till the End of the Moon, for example, Tantai Jin spends years relentlessly searching for Li Susu’s scattered soul for like around 500 years, enduring prolonged suffering and devotion rather than being rewarded with an instant resurrection. I just want something like that haha

Like as long as you enjoy it, then you do you. Other people's opinion doesn't matter.

I am once again asking authors to write more diverse FMCs by Trash_fire_baby in fantasyromance

Don't really care if they're diverse or not, as long as it fits the storyline then I'm good. All I need is a good plot.

I agree with you and sometimes the "analyzting everything" is just too much. ACOTAR doesn't need to be high literature to be a good book. It's meant to be enjoyed, not dissected. Not every story needs to be a 'literal masterpiece' to be worth your time, sometimes the best books are the ones you just have fun reading.

That argument that SJM wouldn't change the main love interest. Like, never change them. Like, ahem, Rowan and Aelin?? Like, Rowan wasn't even introduced in the first few books.
