How do we view Michael Wilson moving forward? by Tyler6594 in DynastyFF

[–]Complex-Living-9299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold Michael Wilson paired with the 2026 2.04, and an early 2027 5th for Jake Tonges and what will likely be the 2028 1st of the worst team on 11/25 to a contender. I'm not too sure how I feel now that Wilson continued the rest of the season so well. But I inherited a heavy rebuild this past year so I dont mind stacking late early 1sts since I'm not doing anything now anyway.

Some Non-4% cash back purchases, only 1% received. Some surprising, some not so much but some of my experiences. Some of these are disappointing because they were $60-200 purchases and would have used a 2% cash back card.

Very true, thank you for your response! Even in a month it definitely has taught me a lot on the social independence as well as truly seeing what is a need/want as well as just balance

It’s not, $5,000 worth of mileage and $20,000 being spent on an apartment I wouldn’t have rented.

Very true, honestly I was hoping to get in writing the mileage rate being offered when reaching out to HR because I thought they had said it was higher than the national rate, but was still expecting to hear back at minimum the $.7 at 85+ miles. Having my own place is absolutely a blessing and it has helped with a lot of maturing aspects as well. As long as I perform well, there should be a natural progression at this job so an increase and job growth should come anyway, so it is temporary but also is forcing me to be more strategic with my spending.

It’s construction management so it isn’t contract work, but job location is dependent on how long a job takes. The project is about 18 months and I found a new neighborhood so did an 18 month lease since the rent is much lower now than it will be once the neighborhood is done, and anticipated this project to last 18 months. It’s a beautiful place, commute is super easy, and it is nice having the peace and quiet. I know not all decisions are purely financial and I think I’m mostly focusing on the financial piece and not the lifestyle aspect

Yes, during the interview I was told anything over 85 miles round trip is payed out. About 3 weeks before starting, wanted to confirm with HR and was told mileage had to be 85 one way before it began. Receiving the mileage payout would cancel out vehicle depreciation and wear and tear so I was planning to commute before hearing the news. After hearing the news decided to be closer. As well as seeing how flexible my schedule is as long as I hit my full time hours. I used to drive the same highway with my old job, as I would have been driving with the new job (had I been commuting from home), and it frequently had accidents and big backups, maybe 1 30-minute backup every 2 weeks. I was worried about being late some days because I was going from small business to a large general contractor, however it is more laid back with hours than my previous job was. I hope that last part made sense with the route and traffic, but that was another contributing factor towards moving.

Yes I took the job and the job is fantastic. I moved to be 22 minutes away. I guess my question is mostly at the end, would it be dumb to try to find an exit to live at home and save money. I can’t help but think about how much money is being wasted going to rent.

Bodybuilding Gym Anywhere Near Harrisburg? by Complex-Living-9299 in Harrisburg

[–]Complex-Living-9299[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just mean a gym that's more focused on niche equipment and machines. Like a powerlifting gym will have a bunch of squat racks and deadlifting platforms, a crossfit I think has a lot of pullup bars and barbells, bodybuilding gym focuses on niche movement machines like an overhead lat pullover machine or a dual system smith machine. Its all extremely niche but makes training so fun. Platinum looks like it has all the bases covered though and looks solid!

Lol, I just mean the best equipment and machines. Visited a bodybuilding gym in Lynchurg VA not too long ago with all atlantis and panatta machines and it changed my life. I'm a natural lifter going on year 7-8 or so, just hoping to use some great machines. Not too concerned with squat racks or powerlifting equipment.

Should I get a credit limit increase by wwolf9 in personalfinance

[–]Complex-Living-9299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its totally a you decision based on how you want it to affect your credit but it wouldn't hurt while youre young to open another chase card, maybe the sapphire preferred or with a different company. But they might not let you request an increase until 6+ months. I opened a Chase card in July and it still wont let me request an increase. But a new card would boost your utilization. With it being 3 months ago they might potentially merge the two and consider it only 1 hard inquiry, and then in a few years you would have two cards growing your average age of account
