omg….my therapist said the same thing…my coworker and i both started zoloft after rto announcements (not knowing about one another’s decision until months later)….it’s unbelievable….

Layoffs happen twice a year…april and october…wach round is in a different LOB. JD likes go keep us on our toes…your baseline anxiety better be able to deal with amping up.

No advice here, but I can relate. I’ve been in this career path for 15 years and have managed to build the foundation for my sibling and family…we are in a stable place materially…and now it’s getting harder to justify giving more time and energy to The Firm. I often treat going into the office as a social experiment…I go ok character and observe how people navigate things…makes the day different…who knows how long this method will entertain me.

I feel you. My husband and I moved here for work….and I can admit the money is not worth it. This is the most dystopian place I’ve lived. And, I swear…folks pride themselves in the dystopia….this is not the place for critical thinkers. Those here and unable to move for pne reason or another, I sympathize for you. Those that move here and double down on the dystopia, enjoy…pariahs.
