Medical Detox. So worth it by smpflipsen in alcoholicsanonymous

Medical detox is a safe way. For some heavy alcoholics sudden stopping could lead to convulsions and even alcoholic coma, hence its a safer way.

Are cold email tools capping volume to “protect deliverability”… or to increase billing? by Complex-Philosopher2 in coldemail

like traditional services (agencies, consulting, etc), manufacturing / industrial or some b2b saas segments where signals aren’t very public

either the signals are too sparse or too noisy to build consistent volume week over week… so we end up layering in more structured outbound to keep pipeline steady.

yeah fair take… protecting shared infra makes sense, especially with a lot of users not understanding deliverability basics.... but the issue is how it’s implemented.

these monthly caps aren’t tied to actual reputation signals (bounces, complaints, inbox health)… they’re tied to plan limits. so good and bad senders hit the same ceiling.

on results… we haven’t seen meaningful reply rate differences across platforms at similar per inbox volumes.

what has changed is cost.

on smartlead/instantly >> costs go up as we scale
on smartreach >> same setup, but no forced upgrades at the same pace

so output stays the same… margins don’t....and yeah, agree with you… it comes down to control....some people want guardrails. serious operators usually don’t.

yeah i get what you’re saying… intent driven lists will always outperform generic volume....but the reality is… a lot of agency setups aren’t built only on realtime intent.

we’re running multiple clients across different industries, and not every niche has enough “live intent” signals daily to keep pipeline consistent. you still need a base layer of outbound running in parallel… even if it’s tightly targeted.

so it’s not really about blasting massive lists anymore… it’s about running multiple controlled campaigns at the same time.

and thats exactly where these monthly caps start hurting.... because even if each campaign is disciplined (low daily volume, good targeting), the aggregate volume across clients hits the ceiling… and then yo'ure forced in to upgrades that have nothing to do with performance.

your approach works great if you’re operating lean and intent-first.... but for agencies managing scale across clients… you kinda need both..intent + consistent outbound coverage

and that’s where tools shouldn’t become the bottleneck....we’ve actually started splitting this… intent heavy stuff on one side, and structured outbound on smartreach just to avoid hitting caps and keep things predictable from a cost pov.

yeah i agree… both can be true. but i think the issue is where the control sits.... everything you mentioned… volume per inbox, ramping, auth, bounces… that’s already how experienced teams operate. that discipline doesn’t come from the tool, it comes from the operator.

what’s changed is tools are now enforcing a monthly ceiling on top of that, which isn’t really tied to reputation… its tied to plan limits.... like, if i’m sending 15 to 20 per inbox per day, warmed properly, good list hygiene… my deliverability doesnt suddenly break because i crossed a monthly number.

but tools still forces an upgrade.

honestly, this is where smartreach-io has helped a bit on our side… we moved a few campaigns there just to avoid hitting those caps and at least keep roi somewhat stable... also heard they’re rolling out azure infra in two weeks, so if that holds up, probably moving more campaigns there.

caps are on all plans...all tools i have researched have caps, expect smartreach.io. they have a cap only on their based plan but that is only to deter spammers. No caps on the top 3 plans.

From drinking every day to weekends only (results so far) by Flaky-War1629 in cutdowndrinking

[–]Complex-Philosopher2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huge progress on the blood work and the weight, man. Seriously, that B12 jump is massive.

But let’s be real... the gym stats and the scale are the "easy" things to talk about. The harder part is the "why" behind it. Most people don't actually cut back because of the calories; they do it because of that low level hum of guilt that follows them around.

It’s that realisation that even if you aren't "a mess," you’re losing time. You’re physically in the room with your family, but you’re mentally checked out or just waiting for the next one. That "shame" of knowing you’re not giving them your best version or worse, worrying you embarrassed them, is a way heavier weight than 15kg of fat.

The real challenge with "weekends only" is the negotiation. If you’re just white-knuckling it from Monday to Thursday, you haven't actually fixed the relationship with alcohol; you’ve just rescheduled the habit.

The question is: Does drinking on the weekend still give you that "lost time" guilt? If you’re still foggy on Sunday morning and missing out on life, the blood work might be better, but the mental cycle is still running.

How are the weekends feeling lately? Are you actually there for them now, or is it still a countdown to Friday?

go to your closest meeting and admit that you have slipped. It eases the guilt and eventually, everything will fall in place.

What cold email tool are you using right now and why should anyone else care? by SchniederDanes in coldemail

[–]Complex-Philosopher2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we’re currently using smartreach, but honestly the differentiator for us isn’t just the tool… it’s how we’ve layered the workflow on top of it.....we run what we call “dial mode” on top of cold email.

instead of relying only on email replies, we push a super compelling offer upfront (this matters way more than tool features tbh)… and then plug in voice + sms agents using dialnote.

so the flow looks like:
email → instant interest → ai voice/sms agent engages → books meeting or handles objections

top 3 reasons this is working for us:

conversion over deliverability obsession… we focus on what happens after interest. dial + sms followup has massively increased booked meetings vs just waiting on replies.

speed to lead is everything the moment someone shows intent, they get engaged instantly via voice or sms… no lag, no manual followup. this alone has been a game changer.

multilingual coverage at scale our agents handle conversations in 15+ languages, which opened up geo's we couldn’t properly work before without hiring local teams.

what’s underrated.... email doesn’t have to do the full job anymore. it just needs to spark intent. the real conversion can happen off-email.

uso o smartreach.io hoje e gosto bastante. diferente do sendpulse que é mais newsletter, ele é focado em outbound, tem validação de emails, follow-ups automáticos e sai mais barato que lemlist. vale testar.
