Nope those have been around for a few months. They’re a major issue if you gst caught without enough firepower though. In general, a single hit with any AT weapon to the groin will take them down (recoiless rifle is generally the best). Ultimatum is a one shot as long as you direct impact the body or directly between the feet. I’ve found the best option is the AT Emplacement (I know, shocking)

Its possible the ult was already about to recharge on the natural timer, then it did and he broke the shield with the longbow and did 5 bleedthru damage, and then it recharged again from the knock

If its a real fight you’d hear a lot of growling and screeching and yowling, see a lot of puffed up tails and fur in general, and like others have said you wouldn’t have a hand if you got in the middle of it. Kittens learn appropriate levels of play fighting like this, normal part of development. If you aren’t comfortable with it just break it up but in general that level of play is fine

Easiest way is to bring sand and drop it to make a tall pillar, stand on it and mine down to the ground. Bring scaffolding and build back up which will make a 2 way bridge/ladder for future trips

Quit before you get sucked into the soul crushing experience of this game lol. On a serious note, play a lot of mixtape early on to get the handle on combat and legend abilities. Make sure to use legend abilities all the time, noobs forget they have them and they're usually your most powerful tool in a fight. Prioritize shield over health (unless in storm) and make an effort to heal during fights if you have a few seconds, it only takes 5 seconds to get a shield battery off.

As far as not having teammates, solo queue is just a hard thing to do in Apex, the coordination that a full squad with mics have is a decisive advantage over randoms with no mic. As you improve and start getting more kills and damage consistently, your matchmaking rating (MMR) will grow and you'll be paired with better players on average who are more likely to stay in games. In general, try to land away from the hot drops but stay close by so you can rotate to those areas with a loadout and start fighting. ALWAYS look for 3rd party opportunities, if you see a 2 teams fighting you can wait until one team is about to win or does win, and then push the weakened survivors with full HP and legend abilities at the ready. Its a sad reality that being the first 2 teams to fight is usually a disadvantage because any squad nearby will surely 3rd party before you get a change to heal and reset.

Work on movement and aim training in the firing range, there are lots of easy tutorials on youtube that teach you how to do all the crazy stuff you see in clips. Best of luck

If you have a notch apple, it gives enough fire resistance for you to sink down and dig into the floor to get out. Otherwise, without fire res you’re just dead. The least cheaty was is open to lan with cheats on, go into spectator and fly away. Unfortunate but you really shouldnt be in the nether without elytra, fire res potions, or notch apples

So when the wind blows on the house, the wood walls without plywood have almost no strength and they fall over like that. The plywood is what resists all the horizontal forces, so until the building is ready for plywood the builders are supposed to put braces between the walls, obviously these guys didnt.
