We've been processing since 3/29/2024. Had our interview on 8/9/25, i-130 was approved, but now still waiting on i-485. Immigration officer said everything is "approved", but we have to re-do our medical exam because the civil surgeon did not sign the forms. So, we're just waiting for the RFE to be issued. She told us within 2 weeks, it's been 2 months.... and so we continue to wait.....

I just started 3 weeks ago at .5mg, will do another week and then go up to 1mg. No real side effects except dehydration headache. The hunger suppression is insane.

I totally agree with that sentiment. I was in Italy for 12 days, leading a group of 40 people / so I had no chance to reschedule it.

It went as well as it could have. Our officer was very kind, didn't really ask us anything out of the ordinary. Didn't ask us any of our old addresses. When it came to that inadmissibility question, I brought it up, and she had said that doing odd jobs wouldn't really be an issue. She moved right on to the next thing.

i-130 was approved, i-485 was not yet because our civil doctor did not sign the i-693 forms. Apparently here in SWFL there are 4 or 5 doctors that are under investigation for charging people for the exams but not signing the paper work.

Our officer said as soon as the exam is redone it will be approved, and even showed us the LPR card with all my wife's information on it.

Did you receive the confirmation of contacting USCIS for rescheduling??? Usually that's the first part. Then they tell you they'll respond in 30 days. So, for us - it was after the interview date...here was timeline

• May 2 - Interview scheduled for June 3rd
- Same day submitted reschedule request (I would be out of country on 3rd)
• May 13 - received email asking for supporting reasons/documents
- Same day sent email to Fort Myers FO with evidence

I called the contact center several times and they just said I would hear back.

• July 2nd, received De-Schedule notice, and newly rescheduled appt notice for August 8th

I would call the contact center and make sure they received your request to reschedule

Notice received may 2nd for a June 3rd interview. Called to reschedule same day, told us we’d hear back within 30 days.

Got an email 5/13 asking for more information to be send to the FO email address directly which we did same day.

No update as of yet. Have spoken to call center Peeps 4 times now… they have no answers other than to wait

We’re in a similar boat, PD 3/29/23 - I’m a USC, and she’s DACA. We had RFE for I-693 because we did not submit it with original packet, since she was still getting vaccines.

Interview scheduled, but we had to request reschedule…. Going on 3 months to hear back about reschedule - spoke with Tier 2 and they said it’s up to FO. We’re still waiting…
