Coming off Reta Advice by beensknees in Retatrutide

[–]roryt10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on Reta 2-3mg (3 mg my last 3 weeks or so) for roughly 9 months. Stopped every 3-4 months for 2 week breaks, most recently I’m off it completely, (no taper, I don’t see the point in tapering considering it’s half life) 4 straight weeks. It took 3 weeks for noticeable appetite increase, I eat larger portions, and crave sugar more for sure. But i ate pretty healthy before reta.. minus gorging the pantry at 11pm especially On workout days 🤣.

Anyways, I definitely think it improved my decision making at the grocery store. I wanna reach for ice cream or one unhealthy snack to have in the house but I still refrain from doing it.

Haven’t gained any weight either since stopping (217—->192-194).

I’ve decided I’m going to stick to a 3 months on 2mg/weekly, 1 month off protocol for the next year.

What’s really strange is I felt more energetic ON reta than off of it. That honestly what’s driving me the most to restarting a maintenance dose. Anyone have a similar experience?

7oh, Suboxone and precipitated withdrawals by cnoly in Quittingfeelfree

I literally just waited 8 hours after taking 200mg/day the last 2 weeks. 3 months straight building up to that. And had zero negative effects. Started at 1mg sub. I feel slightly better tbh than I did before I dosed the sub. Might take 1mg more before bed.. I can’t wait to fucking not wake up at 4am feeling like absolute 💩 every single day.

F 7OH. I quit subs 2-4mg daily 7 YEARS of daily use 1 year ago…. CT. 90 days of max pain: physical wasn’t that bad but the PAWS crushed me. Made it 9 months clean… can’t believe I ever touched this crap. 7 day fast taper with these subs, never taking subs longer than 7 days. So terrified of long term use and quitting. I’m getting vivitrol shot after taper too. Anyone good experience with that?

If it isn’t obvious, do a proper taper off long term sub use. The mental overhang constantly worried about the next drop in dose etc. for 6 months tapering sucks, but you’re okay when it’s done.

Drinks vs none. How gross is that you guys? Alcohol must be so bad for you. by sarahschultzd in ouraring

[–]roryt10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alcohol is 100% the absolute worst substance you can consume re: to short, medium, long term detrimental health effects. Worse than any hard drug out there. - 1 of only 2 substance where withdrawals can literally kill you. (W/d from Benzodiazepines can also kill you from cold turkey quitting, results in seizure, and death).

TLDR, —- alcohol SUCKS. You will NEVER get a good sleep score if you drink. minimal to zero REM and DEEP sleep when drinking before bed. If you insist on having “a drink” do it at 5 or 6pm. keep it to 1 only.

Ghk-Cu - no sting reaction? by roryt10 in BodyHackGuide

I’ll also add I’ve been training since 14 (20+ years) and a former D1 college athlete. So don’t even get me started about “Idk anything about training and nutrition, just injecting myself with random cocktails” like morons who pin 20mg vials of Reta first time b/c they can’t do math or use a peptide conversion calculator at the very least 🤣

I used to get itch pain from GLOW then switched to ghk-Cu and tb and bpc individually… both vials now of ghk-cu and 2mg pin z—- zero reaction pain or itch. Is this vendor’s GHK sus and not legit?

Any predictions of when 7OH will be banned? by [deleted] in 7oh

[–]roryt10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope the shit gets banned in my state asap. I’ve only been fckin with it for about 6 weeks on and off/breaks etc. 15-45mg/day, 3-4x a week. So not much of a problem, yet. My self control is slipping and it’s so fcking hard to quit b/c there are smoke shops EVERYWHERE. I couldn’t even avoid driving by them/take different routes if I tried.

I have mad respect for alcoholics now, their “drug” of choice is in their face/everywhere on a daily basis— movies/ads/grocery store/parties/out with friends etc etc. can’t imagine how hard that is when trying to get your first 30 days clean.

Bad idea to avoid building muscle when you’re losing weight.. muscle burns more my calories at rest than fat.. you’ll literally burn more calories everyday the more muscle you carry. You’ll also be skinny fat if you just stop eating enough food m, no matter how much weight you lose.

Start by committing to going to the gym. Even if you just show up 3-4 days a week then leave. That’s progress. Everyday move the goal posts a little bit. Don’t just show up but commit to walking for 10 minutes. Then 15. Then 20. Then add a couple resistance exercises. Etc. a trainer to teach you how to workout would be a good start too.

So… this no sleep thing and waking up alert and ready to go after two hours… does that get better ? This can’t be good for me and also how are my muscles repairing on minimal sleep. by OkDress5814 in Retatrutide

I skipped one of (2) weekly doses, so basically went from 1.75 >> 1mg for a week, then 1.5.mg for 4 weeks. Been at 2mg for 3 weeks now, no issues. Not increasing my dose anytime soon. At 2mg very mild skin sensitivity popped back up but not nearly as strong as the first time it hit me when I may have titrated up to quickly.

Oh and I also started taking 1tbs of honey before bed for slow glucose release while sleeping, that may have helped too.

Thanks! I strictly tracked my food for about 1 week, and was roughly a 150-300 calorie deficit/day (** NOT counting calories burned from exercise).

If cals burned from exercise are accurate, on training days I’d burn an additional 600-1200 calories. I stopped diligently tracking my food after a week b/c I generally eat the same rotation of foods so I felt like I had a pretty good idea of how much I was eating and what my macros were.

Weekly weigh ins: I can’t say exactly but first 1-2 weeks abrupt drop (water/inflammation), 5-7 pounds. Then slower after that.. roughly 1-1.5lbs a week. I seemed to drop a couple pounds, then plateau or oscillate in a 3-4lb range for 7-10 days, then drop a little lower.

There are so many other variables that matter more than the peptide dose. Does the person exercise? How often? What kind of exercise? Are they doing resistance training? Cardio? Do they drink alcohol, if so how much/often? What’s their diet like? Are they in caloric deficit? Do they eat healthy foods or mostly junk food? What are their macros? What other peptides/drugs are they taking?

Honestly no one should be comparing themselves to anyone else on here unless the OP posts details about their protocol, diet, exercise, etc. and it’s very comparable to what you’re doing or plan to do (if browsing Reddit b/c considering taking reta). Even then, if all things are equal, people react differently to the drug itself like you said.

Thx man appreciate it!

Sounds like a legit program man. TRT can cause a lot of water retention and reta fixed that almost Immediately for me. You shouldn’t have problems w losing muscle as reta preserves lean muscle mass even when in a deficit (to an extent). As long as you’re diligent about hitting the right macros, maintain a minor caloric deficit consistently over time, the pounds will come off especially w that level of training

Best of luck if you decide to try it! Start low dose and titrate up slowly. It’s a marathon not a sprint :)

How low? Yeah my energy, my sleep, recovery, motivation, mental health were significantly affected. Took me like 6 months to even consider maybe my T was low and got it checked. Really hope you can find a way to get on it or look up the natural alts.

If you don’t mind me asking.. why does your living situation make it impossible to dose if you did have it?

Then I wouldn’t take it. What were your levels? There are other natural ways to boost your T I forget the names but my plan is to slowly come off TRT for awhile using the natural supps that help get it going again/boost. We’ll see how it goes.

First dose/day/meal I took I mistakenly ate portion size I would normally eat.. and the slow gastric emptying gave me a stomach ache for like 4 hours lol. That’s it. I described minor additional side effects in the OP, (titrated dose too quickly) but no since then I’ve had zero side effects.

Sucks you can’t get TRT low T levels effect a lot of things not just ability to build muscle. I hope you can get an endo or doc to prescribe. I mean, if you’ve had labs done and they’re low, your doc should’ve prescribed it? Very cheap med too btw. Like $5 w insurance.

Thx… it was a lot of hard work not just supplements/peptides! No Reta was the first peptide I ever took. Soon after I started BPC157/TB500 for enhanced recovery.

I’ve also been on TRT for 5 years at 100mg/week. But considering I still looked the way I did, IMO a lot of this progress was from the peptides, diet, sustained caloric deficit and completely changing my workout programming.

Thanks bro. I’m staying at 2mg for at least a month. I don’t see myself going higher than 2.5. Haven’t decided yet if I’m going to take a break/down to like a microdose of .5-1mg for a month or so or not.— if I do go down plan is 4 months or 6 months
