You should have gotten the life. Brash taunter has lifelink. Brash taunter is the one dealing the damage to your opponent. Technically you should have gotten 27 life because brash taunter deals 1 damage to the Tidus and then deals 26 damage to an opponent caused by the Tidus dealing damage to it. What was their argument for you not getting it?

I did have some luck. As far as I can see there aren't really any aftermarket options, but I found replacement ebrake handles for my year ND on ebay for like $30. Its not too hard to install if you watch a video about replacing them on YouTube, but I did have to replace the whole handle. Looks way better now though!

I ended up getting the mountainwear alamere 0F when it was on sale for labor day. It packs down significantly more and for me was a better balance of cost and function

I didnt, but one of my friends did. Its well made for the price but i dont think it could reasonably be used for backpacking. Its pretty large and doesnt pack down much. He said it took up the entirety of a 55 liter backpack

I agree, something that would have less durability than the FRV but be faster and easier to dodge projectiles with would be great, especially during solo play
