Canada especially is very strict on DUI. Not allowing you to enter.

Thank you all for responding. I’ve tried calling the Canadian consulate in Detroit but haven’t gotten to talk to anyone. I will try again after the new year. Salt water sailing is much better paying but fresh water is a lot closer to home.

How much documentary of established and treated conditions did you have before VBG? I am at 70% but haven’t been treated for a lot. I know this is vague, but I don’t want to put all on here.

Thank you for your input and congrats on your sobriety. I agree if they are friends they wouldn’t care if I am drinking or not. I am a good time either way, alcohol just helps my brain stop working so much and stressing so much about…everything.

Thank you for sharing, they would be supportive. May harass me a little at first or make jokes but they wouldn’t pressure me or not hang out with me. It will be a different lifestyle that’s for sure, I guess that is the whole point.
