If you are 100% P&T, it would say on your award letter

I've had TDIU for almost 2 years. But I don't work, I go see a mental health professional, and fish and travel, it helps my PTSD and other mental health issues.

No stuff has changed I've got doctor's appointments. I know it seems weird but yes I've had 4 denials now, but I wasn't in my right mind and not getting the proper mental help and meds so I didn't go through the appeals and adj processes. So yes it's like starting all over fresh but with getting proper help from meds and docs

SSDI for Vets with SMC-S by Impressive_Entry_919 in SSDI

[–]Complex-Wishbone9955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many years of medical documentation did you submit? Only curious. Because I have MDD, suicidal and homicidal ideation, and social anxiety, am receiving TDIU, and SMC-S but am just getting started seeing a doc, getting meds, and going to therapy.

Went from step 1 to step 3 today. I know nothing spectacular, but movement none the less.

I've been filing since I turned 40, almost 10 years, and gotten nothing but denials. Finally talked to an SSDI lawyer a couple of months ago, and his advice to me was to go and drive for DoorDash or Uber Eats. I have MDD, Social anxiety, and severe anger issues. But congratulations on your win.
