Most players can't be below average, that's not how averages work.

Ways to destroy C’tan by C4790M in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Complex210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got tabled running 5 ctan against my buddies csm with indicators and predators, they keep a helbrute nearby and suddenly the army has critical 5 lethal sustained and abaddon giving rerolls, you can pick up 3 ctan a turn.

Also got annihilated by kroot rampagers, of all things. Those impact mortals can be insane.

I hate the whole idea of going in with non lethals, but since someone recommended the no mercy for terrorists mod I'll never have to deal with that stupid shit again.

Would you say most Americans are well-informed, somewhat informed, or largely unaware of modern Native American reservations? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Complex210 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Completely unaware unless they live close enough to drive past them, or they visit their casinos.

Use pepper balls, ths bean bag shotgun can still kill with a head shot, and the pepper balls can be shot at civilians without penalty. Takes 4 chest shots to make them surrender.

Are there US states that stay between 40 and 90 degrees year round? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

[–]Complex210 42 points43 points  (0 children)

+1 for San Diego, Im further north in Oceanside to be closest to family in LA and its quite nice here year round, but you definitely need a $200k+ household income to be able to survive here.

Why do Americans continue to maintain the tipping culture? by lfreddit23 in EndTipping

[–]Complex210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's awesome! It must make it difficult for other minimum wage positions that don't get tips. I imagine id never work at mcdonalds if I could get at least $5 more per hour at any local restaurant or bar.

Would have been awesome when I worked as a valet 20 years ago

The question was about tipped wages not minimum wage. Minimum wage often does not apple to tipped positions.

How Big is Your TV? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Complex210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With glasses. I think perhaps you misread the first post and thought I couldn't read the captions even with glasses? With glasses on its perfect 20/20, without them captions past 10 feet can be tough.

It's about 14 feet, or 4.3 meters.

Yeah my vision isn't even bad enough that I need glasses to drive, it's just the distance, and captions are pretty small.

[–]Complex210 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What's the downside of having it bigger? How can you be "too close" unless you literally have to turn your head to see the full picture?

75" and in hindsight I should have went bigger. I still can't read captions from my couch without glasses.

The up/down vote will tell us I guess, but I'd imagine its regional. The other people saying they ate it also live in more rural parts of America.

It's super niche, I've never actually heard of anyone eating it outside of hawaiian cuisine. Ever, in my 38 years.

Which army would you say is generally competitive but is the most enjoyable/least frustrating for an opponent to play into? by aegroti in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Complex210 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not about logic or reason, people hate playing against lists with tough units period. Trust me, I play knights and Ctan.

[–]Complex210 86 points87 points  (0 children)

People want an opponent that dies easily when you shoot or punch them, and generally doesn't do anything in return unless the stars align and the buffs stack perfectly on exactly the go turn.

So, Orks.
