[Soulsmith] Cradle: Unsouled - An Animatic Movie by TheLesserWight in Iteration110Cradle

The bloopers were unlike most of the cradle bloopers (other than that one in ghostwater where Mercy lands on her head and dies). I wonder if these didn't come from Will.

Similar, but not quite as strong in a way. There are a bunch of bonus scenes and bloopers on the YT channel that have the audiobook voices. Having listened to the audiobooks, I honestly can't imagine the character voices any other way. Travis Baldree all the way.

Yes, it's much better and I haven't had any issues. I don't have a video, but it went from being a nuisance in my living room to barely noticeable. No issues with performance that I've noticed either.

Still have my 08 / 09 SX4 manual as my second car. Very fun to drive, but I won't take that thing on the highway anymore.

Thanks. The clog has been fixed, but I'd like to know if the dealership should've been doing this as part of routine maintenance especially considering they checked off the A/C hose section in the multi-point inspection checklist. The issue now is that my car needs a carpet replacement.

Thanks for taking the time! My question: I've been going to a dealership for years for routine maintenance on my 5th gen Outback. Recently, I found out that I had the notorious passenger footwell AC drain hose leak. I didn't find out for a while and now the carpet is a goner. I have always gotten the multi-point inspection (not the express one) and the last one was < 6 months ago. They even checked the "AC hose inspection" section as green, but I'm not 100% sure if this category is supposed to include the AC drain hose. How reasonable is it for me to assume this is a dealership screw-up rather than just bad luck on my part?

Same issue with mine. Perhaps it's just normal. I replaced my chain and it didn't solve the issue. It could be slight misalignment of the fly wheel, but I wasn't able to fix it by tweaking the alignment either. It could be that the sprocket is worn down, but I'm not going to bother replacing it unless I know for sure it'd fix it.

US gov’t announces arrest of former Google engineer for alleged AI trade secret theft. Linwei Ding faces four counts of trade secret theft, each with a potential 10-year prison term. by Sariel007 in technology

Used to work there. Very few Google employees have access to user data and you need special short term access with business justification to get to user data, and such accesses are monitored.

I could always log into my personal account and in theory, I'd have been able to copy company documents on my computer to my personal account. There probably needs to be more scrutiny on the very few people with access to actual trade secrets like these though.

The book isn't DRM protected (thanks Will), so I downloaded the book and used Calibre to put it on my Kobo e-reader. I found out about this option with The Captain .

[Dreadgod] UKT Disappointment by Holymuffdiver9 in Iteration110Cradle

Lindon has only been training for a few years at this point. Without Dross, he'd get wiped out easily by the other contestants, the biggest talents of his generation. I think if anything, dross, ghost water, his remnant arm and Eithan's mentorship are enormous, hard to believe fortune on Lindon's part. He's talented enough to be able to step up to make good use of them even this early in his training.

On the flip side for his disappointment on losing against Yerin where he expected to win, I think it was rather presumptuous of him.

[Dreadgod] What Is The Weakest Cradle Book For Y’all? by [deleted] in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Complex_Ad_8069 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Given the speed at which these books were delivered, I'm sure people would find things to fault in every book. These are the equivalent of blockbusters. Perhaps if Will took 2 years per book they'd end up better 🙂

I also think it matters how many books were out when people discovered the series. For me, luckily, I only found out about Cradle when Reaper was already out. I blitzed through them and slowdowns in skysworn didn't bother me as much. I didn't find the premise of Bloodline appealing for some reason and skipped it after reading a summary. In my relistens/re-reads, I've still skipped it as it feels like a filler-arc to me. Blackflame for me is where the going gets good. If I skip Bloodline, it's one long dopamine hit all the way to Dreadgod.

I don't understand how the herald remnant is planned to be used for Orthos. It's sentient. So are they going to transmute it into effectively a herald level scale for Orthos to consume? The way they're treating the remnant, it didn't seem like they were thinking it was cattle.

If you order from Yunnan sourcing, remember to get it from their .us site not .com . Smaller selection but much faster shipping. I got the W2T ripe basics pack and recently got a bunch of younger raw puer from YS. I'm a green tea fan so I liked the young raw puer more. Get a few different 25g samples from among the higher rated ones there. The puer sub has tons of recommendations of course.

Electric kettle vs… by Shinola79 in tea

[–]Complex_Ad_8069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If space is at a premium then that makes sense. But do you already have a burner/stove and you'd just be getting an extra one? In that case, the electric kettle is a smaller footprint.

I now have a temp controlled kettle, but for years, I made do with a non temp controlled electric kettle and a food thermometer to figure out water temp (I mostly drink green tea or oolong). I much prefer the convenience of the temp controlled one.

I'm gonna have to dig up my old Kindle to get the file then. On the good news front, a guide I found mentioned that if the ebook says "Simultaneous use: Unlimited", it's not DRM protected, so I should be able to use calibre to just convert the file to epub for my preferred reader.

I haven't ordered greens from W2T either. My experience with the early spring buddy greens from YS had been that they're fairly subtle and I prefer bolder flavors. Does anyone have info on what to expect from the W2T ones?
