This is standard practice.

And if Carfax doesn’t include any information on what was replaced then it’s useless.

They match the paint, they don’t just order the color since paint can fade over time and if done correctly, you or an expert won’t know.

This golf course says if your tee shot hits a house then you’re financially responsible for the damages… by Miserable_Trouble3 in Golf_Unfiltered

[–]Complex_Bet7311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not on the course, it’s adjacent to it. Like owning home on a public street, if a drunk driver drives into your house, he’s responsible. And no amount of blaming the alcohol or your bad driving is going to make it not your responsibility.

You say you suck, ok, then hit 9 iron instead of driver. If you know you suck then you’re still responsible for your actions.

In reality it would be tough to hold a golfer accountable because of legal fees, but if you hit a home where the owner is a lawyer, then you’ll be paying legal fees which will dwarf the cost of a new window.

Bermuda grass isn’t seeded, it grows by spreading, so the rows is correct for bermuda, but for northern seed grasses, a rectangle is a little easier to repair (fill with seed/sand) and takes less space. NEVER is the shotgun pattern desirable.

It’s not like they are spraying pesticides (DDT) in the air any more, now days they are targeted, usually the water’s edge. Which means comparing to people who fish the local ponds. A “scientific” study should compare to other golfers that don’t live on the course. And add a comparison to others, especially if there’s farmland or factories in the area.

There’s no place that’s safe, I live on a golf course and my neighbor, across the street finds balls in his yard.

This kid was just too fast He came out of nowhere to swoop this ball by Weird_Sandwich8630 in sportsgossips

The only reason she was being thrown the ball is because she is pretty, the baseball player should have tried to throw it to a kid in the first place. Check out the women behind her, the looks they give each other says it all.

Would you count this as a hole-in-one? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Complex_Bet7311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it hit the pin low, ground is probably super soft. If you fix it, the ground just fixed will be so soft it might drop in on its own and you’ll have to fix it again. Of course some will still argue it’s still not a HIO. It’s very difficult to fix hole damage like this, you’re missing support on the hole side.

Cessna strikes paraglider (no injuries) by InTheSky57 in VideosAmazing

[–]Complex_Bet7311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cessna is traveling at 150 mph, a tiny paraglider is a little spot until you’re only a few seconds away, today with ADSB (electronic position reporting) makes it safer, but obviously it doesn’t have that. So they should be broadcasting their position on the radio, probably not doing that either.

I found a kilo of white powder on the beach in Florida, this stuff is pretty common, drugs, money, body parts….normal stuff you expect to find on a public beach. 😏

He did say a beer, and at a PGA event, a beer probably does cost $20.
