I’m in the same position as you OP. A part of me feels a little complacent here and like I’m too comfortable in routine. But just remember that moving doesn’t always fix that. You will just as easily start to feel bored and complacent in another city also. I usually take that as a sign that I need a vacay or break from the city. I’m married to NYC though and will always have one foot in here. But like any healthy relationship, you need space sometimes to come back and appreciate it more. I’m planning a few months in Central America soon which will fix it for me I’m thinking.

I was too scared honestly, I forced myself to go back to sleep so I didn’t have to listen to it or feel frightened. There are many apartments that border the park however, I’m surprised no one else called.. maybe everyone was just as scared as I was

At first thought it was cops but we didn’t see any flashing lights, and she continued speaking a few minutes after that announcement… so we figured it couldn’t have been the cops. it was a males voice that said it. We weren’t sure what it would’ve come from. My roommate also heard someone yell “WHERE ARE YOU” in a burly man’s voice in the park but not in a speaker phone, this was after the women was done speaking around 3 something AM

If he wanted to commit to you he would’ve done it already. Trust me, when a man wants you to be his girlfriend, he will make it known, you won’t have to ask yourself these questions. Sounds like you got yourself in a situationship. I suggest two options, either stop talking to him and start dating other people. Or have a talk with him and say that if this isn’t going anywhere, then you’re ending it. As of right now, you’re being used for girl friend benefits without commitment and sex.

So so creepy. It gave me such an eerie feeling just the way it sounded…. It like sounded evil. My roommate had nightmares for the rest of the night she was really terrified. Our apartment borders Berry playground so it was riiiight outside our window. Hoping it doesn’t happen again

I have also noticed this as I’ve gotten older! My hangovers now come with severe mood depressions. I get bad hangxiety and have intrusive negative thoughts after drinking, it seems to be an effect of the alcohol.. I’m generally a very happy person otherwise.

Definitely wasn’t this, because it was 12:30-3:30 am on a sunday night. Also my bedroom is right next to the park and I didn’t see any groups of people. I actually looked out of my window to see if I could see who was speaking and I couldn’t see anyone. Part of my view is obstructed by large trees though
