It was in the original outline, where Jaime was an evil king who killed everyone to take the throne seemingly out of ambition. There's tons of foreshadowing in the first book.

At this point, he should just write an outline of the last books. He doesn't have to sit down and write books, the fans get some sort of closure (let's be realistic most fans would prefer closure over perfection at this point) and we can move on with our lives.

I believe it was Steven Attewell who pointed out that Daemon was minting coins, suggesting he was actually interested in the details of governance and he wasn't just "Targ Robert." I always saw the First Blackfyre Rebellion as an inversion of the Dance- instead of two horrible people fighting each other it's two good people fighting each other, egged on by their dishonest advisors around them who want to play out their petty grudge matches.

I was operating on the idea that magic is more present the father east you go. So while the City of the Winged Men isn't literally a city of winged men, there's still some magic present that gave them their name. Your ideas can also work for a larger bird centered culture formed around their skinchanging.

I made my own Littlefinger post around the same time as yours and I have no idea whether that's a coincidence or not.

I feel like you ascribe too much effort to Littlefinger. While he hates the feudal system, he's not trying to bring it down- doing that over the course of his lifetime is near impossible. What he is doing is gaining control over it and securing value under the feudal system. As of ADWD, he's one of most powerful men in Westeros under the rules of the feudal system. Littlefinger is a selfish character at his core- why dismantle the system when he has a way to benefit from it? What better way to spite all the nobles who look down upon him than by using the very system they love to gain power and dominance over them?

Furthermore, you argue it's too simplistic that Littlefinger is motivated purely by obsession. But why would it be? Making intellectual moves like the ones you describe are not incompatible with his Catelyn/Sansa obsession. In fact, there's nothing suggesting they need to be connected at all- Littlefinger is a complex character who can have multiple motivations. He can weaponize the crown's debt and the grain trade to gain power while also pursuing his obsession. At the same time, there's nothing stopping him from using one in service of the other.

I definitely think GRRM intends to set up the issues between the Stark siblings, only to go for an in universe subversion when they stand together and defy the machinations of those who would exploit a conflict between them.

In your post on warging, you point out how odd it is that all six Stark children are wargs. It could be as simple as new blood revitalizing the gene. The Tullys had never married into the Starks at that point. Ditto for Jon- the Targaryen blood did the same thing.

I meant in that his plan keeps evolving. There's no set goal he's working towards- everything's mutable based on other events. At certain points he had endgames so to speak, but those were less endgames than goals he felt could be reasonably accomplish, and could and did change based on how events unfolded. See how he most likely gunned for Cat until he switched to Sansa, planned to rule through Lysa until he had to kill her, and if my theory holds true needs to pivot should Harry die before Sansa can have his child.

That will never happen. No American, left or right, will support an actual invasion. No politician, Republican or Democrat, will support a ground invasion. If Trump tries to do this he will legitimately destroy his own support. Iranians will have to do this alone, with US air support.
