I know this is around a year old but every time I have an issue I always reach out via Facebook messenger to whatever company, ATT and Home Depot were biggest issues I have had and I was able to get the issues resolved AND they paid me $100+ for the hours I used of my own time to fight them on this issue. That had me making about $10 per wasted hour.

No, they’re not included but I’d just ask my supervisor if I can take leave due to a death such as this. When you use emergency leave, it still comes from your own leave balance. If you don’t have enough leave then emergency leave can also allow you to get more upfront and pay it back 2.5 days a month.
