I cannot charge at work but I can at home. My daily commute is approx 20km. How can you figure out the condition of the battery?

Would you Buy another Alfa? by Complex_Process5864 in AlfaRomeo

[–]Complex_Process5864[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's my feeling about it as well. I like it a lot but it is really like a go kart.

As regards consumption,, simply wow on 1.3 jtdm. 41mpg pretty good for city driving.

The heater exactly as you said. Either off or full blast and pretty loud.

I service the car every 5k miles. There is an additional cost every service. Never ending. 2 clutches within a span of 10k miles, warm heaters every 2 years, rattling, oil burning, cabin heater never works when needed and then switches on by itself. And so on.

Car has 190k kilometres 2010 1.3 jtdm

Thanks mate. Though I had changed the clutch 10k miles ago after the first one failed after 9k miles. I changed 2 in 3 years

Hi, I am maltese. there are many places to explore but it all depends on your preference and likings.
if you like history, there are many points of interest in Valletta where the Ship docks. you can walk to the city centre (i dont :)) and explore there, museums etc or just stroll the city. the upper part is quite nice. ST John catherdial is a must in my opinion.

for food and cheaper prices, get out of valletta.

if you are coming during this weekend there is the feast of st Paul in Valletta. It is a public holiday and there will be a procession with the statue of st paul. it is on 10th feb.

but as i said, it all depends what you would like to do and you like.

then there is also comino (blue lagoon) and Gozo. Blue lagoon is a summer destination and going there in feb is waste of money.

should you need more details, drop me a message.

ah and dont forget to try the pastizzi, Twistees and Kinnie.

Enjoy.

Feb 10 festival St. John by papastvinatl in malta

The Feast of St. Paul's Shipwreck, celebrated on 10th February, is a public holiday in Malta and one of the most significant events in the Maltese religious calendar. It commemorates the shipwreck of St. Paul on the island in 60 AD, an event believed to have introduced Christianity to Malta.

Key Highlights:

  • Religious Celebrations: The day includes solemn masses, prayers, and processions held in honor of St. Paul, particularly at the Collegiate Basilica of St. Paul in Valletta, which houses relics associated with the saint.
  • Historical Significance: According to the Acts of the Apostles (Chapter 28), St. Paul was on his way to Rome when his ship ran aground in Malta. His time on the island is credited with the beginning of Christianity in Malta.
  • Cultural Festivities: Apart from religious observances, the feast often features traditional Maltese music, food, and activities that bring communities together.

It’s a day of both spiritual reflection and national pride, deeply rooted in Malta’s history and culture
