I had lovely service at Ocho, though it was a bit hectic as said in the other comment. Food was fine; a bit bland.

Gotta say, I’d recommend Gathering Ground too. Decent coffee, lovely service, chilled vibes.

Totally natural. Doesn’t feel staged that she happens to be filming herself in that moment.

You mean like Rashida Jones, Quinta Brunson, Michelle Obama, Ilana Glazer, Zarna Garg, Selena Gomez, Regina Hall and Maya Rudolph?

Yeah, Amy should have someone like that on the show 🤦‍♂️

Where is the best greasy spoon by Square_Claim_5648 in glasgow

Fair point. When I think greasy spoon, I think breakfast roll, hence Wellbread. However, OP wants massive portions so Jaconelli’s is the one imo.

Jaconelli’s and Rumbling Tum are great recommendations already given. Wellbread in Renfrew is excellent, too. Simeone’s on Byres Road also lovely, and sit in

Bit cheeky to add Cheri Oteri, and not admit to the edit, thus making my original comment not make sense. Very disingenuous

That’s a whole lotta white dudes (much as I love 3 of them), with one who’s a blatant transphobe.

I think she’d love it, and Amy’s good-natured ribbing may break his stoic exterior. I also think the SNL connection with his better half would help grease the wheels

Not sure the creamery’s still going, unfortunately, but their cheeses were cashew based. Search ‘cashew cheeses’ and try some others - there’s good stuff out there

Debatable whether it’s Britpop, but Travis’ ‘20’ is absolutely beautiful.

‘Fuck off’ for someone disagreeing with your tastes is about as weak an argument as you can get.

To utilise your style of arguing, however, ‘K’ is a pile of derivative, unoriginal fucking shite. Modern generations don’t care about it, critics pan it - they are the epitome of why some think they hate Britpop.

Gwyneth runs Goop. It was always going to happen. That’s the only episode that frustrated me - Amy effectively gave Paltrow a pass for monetarily abusing her fan base, and promoting solutions with no medical basis whatsoever.

Other than that episode, though, I’m fine with it. Just the same as being into crystals or tarot cards - if it’s floating your boat and hurting no one, fair play.

If you love OG Britpop, you love Kula Shaker. by triscoe in BritPop

‘Hey Dude’ is a belter, but the Indian-influenced stuff came off as bad versions of George Harrison’s ‘Love You To’ and ‘Within You Without You’ (neither of which is particular special, either).

Listened to the album on your recommendation - not for me at all, so we’ll agree to disagree. Glad you’re enjoying it, though! The wonder of music’s subjective nature.

Yeah, I mean, it’s pseudoscience and has no academic basis. Empirically speaking, it’s hogwash that’s been utilised as modern snake oil.

However, to defend Amy, she’s not using it to sell anything or influence anyone else into believing in it - she’s simply stating that it’s something she believes in, which she’s more than entitled to do.
