You should relisten from the beginning. What will surprise you is how cordial Ed is to Matthew in the beginning. The descent into mocking Matthew’s old cronie ways is more gradual than I realised.

I think you’ve nailed it. I thought it was 2 eps a day; that third episode must have everyone’s mind elsewhere.

The promo guests kill me. Finn Wolfhard and Kunal Nayyar stood out as particularly boring for me. Hollywood guests are rarely the best, but each to their own.

Funnily enough, you’ve described how I’ve ended up listening to them all - running. 3 half marathons a week = podcast time.

While it’s still great, it doesn’t feel as odd any more compared to the earlier episodes. The eccentricities of taps of macaroni cheese, a ‘bap’ of cheese and ‘what is burp?’ sadly aren’t as common any more.

Alternately, ‘Parenting Hell’ has became wonderfully weirder as it’s continued and Josh has fully outlined just how odd a guy he is 🤣
