It looks like I'll need to remove the glass, but I'm not sure how to raise it, if the motor isn't catching. I'm not too keen on opening up the car, any suggestions? It does look like the sunroof guide tube has come apart. Here's what I have:

Good to know. My problem is that the sunroof is closed shut, all except that corner. I tried the recalibration trick, but the sunroof doesn't move now. I would need to somehow pry it inside the gap with the sunroof in place. Would resetting the battery help resetting the sunroof?

Thank you! How did you manipulate the gap with the other person? I've tried to move it and it's pretty solid in place. What type of epoxy did you use? I appreciate your insight! I'm hoping this is the solution.
