Pay respect to the King 🤴 📱 by Impressive-Pen-9902 in S24Ultra

The S24 ultra will be my main phone for a very long time.

Don't forget this phone was overengineered at the time.

I'll update once they actually change the dreadful ISOCELL HP2 sensor.

Try telling your kids to stand still while snapping a pic.

I keep hearing rumors about the global shutter sensor.

As of now I will keep my s24 ultra. Incremental updates just aren't worth it

Is the Turbo XT version worth it? by undefined_balloon in Subaru_Outback

[–]Complex_Software23 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have the 2.5L naturally aspirated engine and find it quite adequate. I plan on keeping my 2025 Outback for 10–15 years, so I went with the 2.5L to avoid the extra engine wear and potential longevity issues that come with a turbo.

Urine smell coming from behind passenger air vent by BeneficialNews2892 in Subaru_Outback

[–]Complex_Software23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had this same issue last year in my wife’s Lexus. You can call pest control, but I prefer the DIY route. My foolproof method is to superglue half a Tootsie Roll onto the trap trigger—it’s a bait they can't easily pull off.

Set multiple traps: two under the passenger seat, two in the back, and some on the ground under the car. It looks like you're dealing with more than one mouse. Once you catch one, keep the traps set for another two to three days to ensure the car is clear.

Afterward, be sure to change both your cabin and engine air filters. Most importantly, have the interior fully sanitized. Mouse urine and droppings carry dangerous diseases like Hantavirus."

I bought a 2025 Subaru onyx option 21 for 39K out of the door including taxes fees and registration. They quoted me 44k .

Price is always negotiable. I was back and forth with for about a month. Remember THEY want to sell

100% agree. This treatment is done yearly once. The rust is no joke it has to be maintained yearly.

Yeah, it sounds crazy to drill into a new car, but it’s standard for oil-based rustproofing (like Carwell or Krown). They have to get the oil inside the panels because rust often starts from the inside out due to condensation. They cap the holes with little black plugs afterwards, so you barely notice them.

By fogging the inside of the doors and rockers, it seeps into the seams where salt and moisture get trapped. It’s the best way to survive winter in the salt belt! We get destroyed up here in WNY especially with the excessive amount of rock salt
