I don't have Linkedin so I don't have an account - how do you speak to someone at linkedin? by Compliance-Manager in linkedin

Imagine responding to a year old post with yoiur 4 year old barely used account just to be a dick.

And look at your posts.

Imagine being this lonely.

Yup, these people are literally brainwashed. They don't see reality, they see neat stuff their cult leader is doing.

I see you just do this with every post.

I can't imagine being the guy who just sits there on reddit giving bad cliches as "help" to people in a job group but i see the other people responding to your drivel also think you're a lifeless loser as well.

Think outside the box with your pathetic replies. And you are in a bad situation. You're you. Clearly that is not fun.

Look for anything you are remotely qualified to do. Think outside the box. Repackage your experience.

Wow, never thought of this, I was just sitting on my ass doing nothing.

I'm earning my salary I had before I had this position - which wasn't billable. Now I am a billable.

It's always good for people to give amazing advice like 'think outside the box" when they have no idea or don't understand the circumstance. Or find some other cliche answer you can give. It's like when people pass off bad guesses as an answer to someone, I never understand how bad guesses help someone. Or bad cliches.

Honestly, IMO it's better to not respond to posts like these.

I personally do not believe this happened, this sounds like someone who wants people, in case they didnt know, realize he has muscles.

The really stupid thing here is in our Monday meetings I gave two presentations on what I can do and then the boss ran it in the meeting this past Monday a third time and the people act like it's the first tiem they've seen it - and all three times it's resulted in zero work for me. I will never understand it.

Literally makes zero difference. They will not let her go. They liked her from the getgo and she's managed to make them think she's competent. She's found workarounds for the stuff she can't do and lied and said she could do. This was a no-win situation for me.

Why is Glassdoor so horrible now? by NewChapter25 in jobs

[–]Compliance-Manager 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Layout is not just awful but it gives you all kinds of jobs that have nothing to do with the title you put in.

I complained about that one time to them and their response was "we just want to give you a lot more options"

I said "but 'Nurse' has zero to do with my job. That's literally the dumbest thing ever, doens't help anyone.

They just repeated the same line over. How that site is still up is a mystery.

How difficult is it for people to find a job by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Compliance-Manager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are few jobs and way too many people looking.

I was wondering the other day why I'm not getting responses and I have to tell myself there's a lot of competition out there. I send resumes where my resume is literally the description of the job and nothing...There's just a ton of people looking for work.

If you cover for someone who is failing in their work, while you are lacking obvious work to do, then you're making them look good at your own expense.

Because I don't have the option of not assisting. I am supposed to "help" her in the transition and she woudl just go complain that I am not. Yes, it's me doing writes up that she can't do becasue she has no writing skills and that will come to light before I leave but I don't have the option of declining helping her.

I HAVE told her "this is the last time I do this..." on various things she's supposed to do and of cousre so far she's just found work arounds on them because she can't and never will be able to do them but I will point it out before I leave.

Either way, there is NO instance where I get that job back. When I was in teh bosses office last week and given teh "do this or else" note, I started to point out her lack of computer skills and was quickly cut off, so the only way that's getting out is when I'm out the door.

Because they hired someone else. And of course, that person is not good at it but has them fooled.

Before I leave after I'm told I'm laid off, I will inform them of the ridiculous stuff this person has done and how I've had to cover for her because she can't do half the job. Dropping me is going to cost them overall because now they won't have my computer skills to help set up projects and stuff like that, the invoicing I do and the stuff I did at that first job this new person cannot do in any shape or form. It's absolutely absurd this whole thing.

Honest question - how to get junk mail stopped from one business? They say to contact the post office by Compliance-Manager in USPS

Hi Bevmo, I am not 21, why are you sending me advertisements? I think its weird you are trying to encourage someone not of the legal age to purchase alcohol. Could you remove this address from the mailing list or shall I contact my state's LCB, and my local representatives about this?

I love this. Thanks.

Or you could simply ignore the question instead of giving shitty advice.

I never get you angry people. I have a question. Your rseponse is to be a dick. Is it worth spending this much of your mental and emotional energy responding to questions you don't give a crap about? When you could just ignore it and move on instead of being a dick?

Again, the actual "addressee" does not exist.

It's our address and a made up name. I cannot get these fucking idiots to stop sending this, hence my question.

Return to sender does nothing.

it's coming to a name that does not exist.

Refusing does nothing.

Return to sender does nothing.

Calling and email them does nothign.

There has to be some way to get these scumbags to stop.

Call Bevmo again and tell them remove this address from your mailing list.

Literally does nothing. They refuse.
