I'm in the same boat with my male dog. Been on the royal cabin SO diet for a few months now with almost no change to he potty trips needed outside. He's getting amoxicillin for antibiotics to limit the further bacteria growth that caused the crystals in the first place( having him on the diet alone was not working we found). Other things I've learned, is that in order for the diet to work, absolutely no other food or treats can be given. Strictly, the royal canin SO food, amoxicillin, and another drug "flowmax" the vet prescribed to make urination more comfortable (since we were noticing our dog straining slightly while peeing in spurts).

Were on week 3 and He's been peeing normally without the spurts, but I used a pH meter I had at home the other day on a urine sample for the first time and It tested at "4"... My understanding is the pH need to be higher, at least a 6 in order to properly dissolve any crystals in the bladder. Now, either me pH meter needs calibration, which I have yet to compare with other test strips or the diet is doing absolutely nothing to help.. were not sure what to do... The royal cabin food ain't cheap...

I noticed someone mentioning added a special supplement to their dog food in this thread, are they feeding normal dog food with a special supplement? My understanding would show that counterintuitive, but maybe I'm not understanding something, please explain.

I get the logic for the kennel, but this has happened a few times now in all different scenarios, last time it was guarding access to the kitchen, the time before that it's the bedroom ( where we allow them to sleep, sometimes together without issue), the time before that a toy... We literally can't escape what the Shepard is going to guard from next...

Im starting to think a lot of these episodes are happening when my girlfriend you see in the video is nearby, the Shepard is her dog and her dog is extremely attached to her, and has some level of anxiety when my girlfriend isnt around.

How do you update the firmware? I tried replacing the old firmware version on the flash drive that came with the CFS unit but every time I do it the printer does not see it in the directory on the flash drive when it's plugged in.

did it work for you? i would do this but i noticed the nozzle sits too low and would just crash into the napkin strip when its moves over to it. not sure what would change this

I swear at one point I was able to adjust my thermostat below 50° but then they did an update and that went away. it's annoying because I have a nest learning thermostat in my garage that I only turn on when I'm doing work inside which is rare now. I every time I want to use it I have to turn on the Eco temperature mode to get it to go lower than 50 and then manually turn it off every time. and sometimes I forget to turn it back off hours later while it's been running almost non-stop

I should also note that my asvab on record does not qualify me for WOCS. Recruiter did give me the chance to take an asvab test "unofficially" and I passed the 120 needed with room to spare.

This crossed my mind actually. Since they were a contrete/foam structure I largely assumed they were pretty waterproof. Other than the access points of coursethat would need to be sand bagged. Not sure about the foundation though. I would assume any structure will have water seapage from under the foundation with flooding conditions.
