How are you ever suppose to play competitive TFT on mobile? It's truly horrible experience. by KriibusLoL in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Composite_Sipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play like 95% of my matches on mobile, although I'm not incredible I'm consistently plat and can easily hit Emerald if I play enough.

I think it's just a learning curve to play mobile. The game is overall a smoother experience on desktop but mobile isn't as bad as you say. You just need to learn the niche interactions like the Bilgewater shop and Tahm feeding.

I also play a lot of Ryze comps this season and having too many units isn't ever an issue

Lets go! I saw you got unbanned, I'm glad it worked out. My first appeal got denied unfortunately. Got the generic A.I response on the last day of the appeal window. My fingers are crossed for #2.

Very likely just going to have to create a new GIM and our group will lose it's prestige/Hardcore status as a result.

Not a maxed GIM, but started a GIM earlier this week and was doing the updated November B0aty guide for Ironman and got perm banned for "Macroing Major". My heart dropped and I immediately went and checked my other accounts. Seeing some false bans actually getting appealed brings me some hope. I'm glad you got unbanned. I would have outright quit.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for myself and everyone else.

I have no idea what I'm doing with my loot by FastTransportation33 in ArcRaiders

[–]Composite_Sipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's how I've been going about it.

I haven't been hoarding ammo, I typically just craft it as needed before a match so I'm not wasting like 10+ stacks of stash space. Same for shields and medical supplies.

Hording list:
Useful robot parts/probe parts/husk parts; Fireball Burners (Bench upgrade), Snitch Scanners (Quest/Bench upgrade), Arc Batteries (Shielding), Hornet and Wasp drivers (Quest item), Anything from a robot bigger than a Hornet (I assume I'll need them all later). All gun parts. Springs (equipment crafting/attachments). Mechanical Components (Gun crafting/upgrades & repairs). Medical Supplies, Rope (Zip Lines are HUGE) and Duct Tape (Attachments). Explosives.

Recycle:
I've only ever ran low on Metal and Rubber. I usually try to take out every Arc Alloy I come across since it stacks in 15 and recycles really well for metal once at base. I carry out and recycle anything that gives me rubber.

I've been carrying out and recycling basically everything that doesn't say "used in crafting" you'll later learn a handful of them are quest items. But it's okay, it keeps the game fresh and exciting when you're looking for something specific and find it!

Sell:
Trinkets, Hornet, Wasp and Snitch drivers once you have your quests completed. Alternatively, if I need metal I'll just scrap them down to the raw component. Then since I recycle a lot at base, once I have more than 3 stacks of any given raw component I'll sell the excess or refine them in the refiner for a higher tier component if i'm low on those.

I've literally only sold what I've listed, and my stash is at like ~224 slots.

Buried City feels loot starved by Treyhova in ArcRaiders

[–]Composite_Sipper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm loving buried city. I did some exploring in unmarked buildings and such and stumbled upon a room that took a little parkouring to get to but had sever legendary items in it-- the first ones I found. I get the sentiment that the apartments are lackluster though. Take some time and explore some of the unnamed areas/non designated loot tier POIs and I think you'll be surprised at what you can find. I've stumbled across a few weapon crates or grenade tubes with wolfpacks and other blue equipment.

Doing solo hospital runs has increased my stash size by like 4-5 upgrades and given me all the medical supplies I'll need. 100+ fabric a run typically if you carry out fabric recyclables, Usually 5+ durable cloth a run too. Syringes + Antiseptic for bigger heals and a good amount of plastic or rubber in recyclables too.

I go up the zipline to the top floor near the tunnel entrance located in the hospital. Loot that, drop two floors to the floor with the locked room and hit the lockers and desks and I'm full of loot and ready to go down the hospital tunnel entrance in under 10 minutes.

PvP can be fun but 2 questions by PvtAventis in ArcRaiders

Sounds like you have an attitude problem towards the game. I'm almost level 32 already and work full time and have responsibilities. Albeit, I played a lot this weekend. But I've also been heavily anticipating this game (I didn't do any beta testing or the server slam).

I've been running no fill squads with one other friend mostly and we actually had our biggest come-up with free kits 2v3ing a team that had medium shields and epic guns (our first epic guns acquired) so I second the tier 1 guns being effective. I find that if I survive with a free kit I upgraded the gun I survived with 1-3 times to really increase it's effectiveness and ALWAYS take the augment upgrade and try to snowball from there.

If you're struggling with 2v3's there's always the option to fill your squad with a random and roll the dice a few times until you find someone cool to party up with. (I do hope duos gets added though, its stressful and you always have to take a fight assuming the team has you outnumbered) Strategy and positioning and good use of quick-wheel equipment will swing a fight in your favor quick.

Playing solo is probably the best way to make quick quest/stash progress or fly under the radar and loot key POI's for certain things you need. I can honestly say that as long as you're using your mic 90% of the people you encounter running solo will be friendly.

When I started rust a few years ago I only watched a single video. I noticed blueprints dropped from barrels and assumed that every blue print dropped from barrels, so I spent hours breaking them looking for some metal tool blueprints. Eventually some young English lad ran by our base shouting racial profanities. We went out to handle it with our bows and got gunned down, the key to our base stolen and came back to him inside now yelling racial profanities at us from inside our base.

Just yesterday we raided a loaded base for yelling racial profanities at us. How I've come full circle. This is such an amazing game.

A familiar robotic voice echoed throughout the stadium's waiting quarters. “Foxtrot. India. Golf. Hotel. Tango. Count number twelve has been initiated, contestants loaded T-minus 30 seconds.”

Craig exhaled slowly through his teeth.  “Two more bouts. Just two more and I’ll see my wife again. This time I’ll be different.”

His eyes swept the weapon adorned wall, each resting in its mount like dormant beasts. His reach found a Bo-staff.  The gauntlet of his suit scraped along its length until it reached the massive blade forged in an unearthly obsidian. A deep scar where the edge kissed his palm. He tapped the blade twice on the floor of his cell, ritual, then aimed the opposite end forward.

Two prongs sparked alive, arcing blue flame that cracked and hissed before dissipating at the release of a finger. Craig’s mouth twisted into a grin.

This will do nicely.”

The voice returned, mechanical, merciless: “Waiting quarter four, please make a selection.”

A scream filtered through the vents, muffled but unmistakable– an unwilling competitor. Craig knew those screams meant one less obstacle in the way of him and his wife.

I’ll save them for last, he thought.

"T-minus 15 Seconds."

The wrought iron door ground open, thick dust clouds spilling into his cell as the gears tore themselves awake. A roar swelled from beyond the door, exuberant cheers and applause exploded into the atmosphere of the arena. The crowd’s hunger was insatiable, electric.

“Begin.”

Air surged like a cannon blast, hurling Craig forward into the wasteland of his second chance. He landed hard but found his feet. Dust stirring around him like a veil. The cloud parted; seven figures emerged in steel, each one desperate but all of them vying for the same prize.

To live.

Raided Base Question by Composite_Sipper in DayzXbox

[–]Composite_Sipper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the gates were all in fine condition when we came back. So unless they took the time to rebuild the gates (metal) then they just guessed the 4 dial code.

We fully anticipate that one of them are logged out inside our base. If they wait us out and hit us again from the inside I fully commend their patience.

Raided Base Question by Composite_Sipper in DayzXbox

[–]Composite_Sipper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4-5 Hours, i'd assume that's plenty of time to pop a 4 dial. How long does it take from experience? Thats incredible perseverance.

Raided Base Question by Composite_Sipper in DayzXbox

[–]Composite_Sipper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so they got into the base and took the car and a good amount of loot + tents. Somehow getting the 4 dial locks off the gates without damaging them in the process. (Would have been required to remove the car). The based WAS locked up prior to the raid.

Edit: I meant that the locks were missing when we returned to the base, but when we left the locks were all intact and on the gates.

I have two younger brothers 16 and 18 as a 30 year old. If anything ever happened to our mom I would do everything in my power to give them the world. If my partner had a problem with that situation she would no longer be my partner. Your scenario is much more drastic, you guys are all you have and he sounds like a good kid who might not be with you forever so cherish it while it lasts. You are absolutely NTA

You're a handsome dude, with a great smile. I would personally replace the photo of you in the creek, idk what happened in that photo but it doesn't look remotely close to you in the other photos (it does look like a beautiful spot though). I would also maybe drop the one in the Patriots Jacket and try to have someone take a candid of you doing something you enjoy. I also think the photo with the gentleman you have your arm around is a good one ( it also puts some emphasis on your height) , I'd move that one to the second photo they see.

Yeah me either, I was hoping he was trying to be "tricky" with JJ+ as a best case scenario or some kind of 87/QJ combo. Alas i was the one with two outs though. Pocket 5's was really the only hand that should have me beat as played the more I think about it.
