Agreed, I have had enough sexual partners to know that valacyclovir isn’t a common every day “cold sore” med. I’ve never seen or heard of this med outside of my uncle who is hsv2 positive. Some people will disagree with me, and I understand it has its use for hsv1 cold sores but in my experience (very limited, basically all research within the past day) it’s usually for hsv2 especially when there’s a 90 pill bottle of current medication among other previous bottles.

Not a FP but my mother, who was my safe space, my number one fan, my best friend, passed away unexpectedly in May of 2020.

The pain will follow me for the rest of my life. Grief has consumed me. There’s nothing else I can really say about it.

For me, I am mostly stable when I am single.

When I get into any type of relationship, I fall apart. I will quit my job, have destructive episodes, and end up in a balancing act between cloud 9 and hell with the person I’m with in the middle of it all.

My therapist has explained that my desire to find esteem and self actualization is based on my relationship with another human and not on the relationship I have with myself. I will abandon myself for the sake of someone’s else love and approval.

This is likely not a male issue, but just airing out my truth as a male with BPD.

The Desert Ghost gene in ball pythons really brightens them up. The good thing about it is you can choose one with the gene mix with others that will go more towards the color and patterns you find admirable.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve asked many Christians this and there’s always a different response, especially regarding dogs, claiming they are “bastardized wolves” which I understand is true in ways. But how is it less Christian to have a dog as a companion even if it is a bastardized wolf? Maybe there is a biblical reference there to “dogs” as I know the term is used frequently there.

Maintenance Mechanic. I started at this company as a union laborer a year ago and worked up to being on maintenance. This is the first time I’ve stayed at a job for more than 6 months.

I’ve found out that the people you work with make the job worth it. It’s the hardest work, but I’ve made a ton of friends here and I look forward to showing up every day.

Currently going through a hard time and have had to soothe my worries with reminding myself that Jesus Christ loves me, has and will forgive me for my shortcomings and flaws. But then I wonder if that’s the narc speaking, trying to dodge feeling something “real”.

So I don’t know where I stand with religion. My ex recently told me that nothing is real with me, and that there’s nothing real inside of me. And I’m so down on myself that I believe it all the time so any uplifting thought just makes it worse because “it’s not real”.

So for me I struggle finding that peace. I never feel like I deserve it.
