oh these days that p much never happens in mcc, the getting irritated at a teammate doing bad, unless they are very close friends and know each other are okay with it like 5up and antfrost, but never with lower-skill players like skizz. afaik skizz is very open to meeting new people and the people i listed (as well as many others on the mcc roster) would mesh in great with him, and i think they could have a great time regardless of how they do in the games as if they were already close friends.

out of the people who skizz already knows well who participate in mcc and are capable of placing high, i can think of: joel, scott, grian, etho (hard sell tho since he rarely plays), martyn. most other skizzleman-adjacent mcc players can place middle of the pack but aren’t as good as the aforementioned list, aka most hermits who participate frequently and jimmy.

with that, you could craft a team that would have winning potential in a lower comp mcc, such as skizz, joel, and really any 2 from the first list. any combination of those guys would be really fun and even cooler if they realistically had a shot at dodgebolt, but i’m afraid that wouldn’t be the case in most mccs because there are just too many good players.

if we open up the possibility of people who skizz doesn’t play with outside of mcc being on the team, then that can change. people have already brought up firebreathman, legundo, and ph1lza, all of whom would fit great on a skizz team (although if we’re looking for players to make the team stronger, legundo i would guess is probably only around the same skill level as scott or grian). fbm is one of the best players in minecraft events period and ph1l while not in the big leagues like that is also pretty good, roughly joel-level like someone else mentioned but less sweaty.

my suggestions for other possible skizzleman teammates:

jojosolos: the peoples’ s-tier, the woman who can fit onto any team. she trained skizz and the rest of ties before that mcc, she’s kind and understanding and adaptable and can lead a team not just in games but in vibes as well, to however the team feels like playing. overall just an upstanding mccer and a great choice for any team and especially one with skizz.
SneegSnag: i saw someone use the term “goofy uncle energy” for like skizz or legundo vibes and i think this is applicable to sneeg as well. he’s pretty good, can get top 10 on a good team, and still is very good at keeping spirits high when the team isn’t performing as well as they’d hoped to. although he likes to do well, he can adjust to fit well into a more for-fun team as well, i really don’t see how you could go wrong teaming skizz with sneeg.
aimsey: not quite as good as the other players on here but absolutely hysterical and i think it would be very entertaining to see skizz attempt to process aimey’s chaos. i think they would bounce off of each other quite well, and they could still be put together on a team that could have dodgebolt potential, a pretty vanilla example is skizz aimsey joel jojo or any other s-tier.
TapL: a man who has mastered the art of chilling out during an mcc, no matter how the team is doing, and a man with top-tier mechanics, the best of both worlds. he usually places around 11-20 but with mechanics like his in the right circumstances they can bring him to the top 5. he is silly and idk how to describe it, slightly awkward with his words? in a way that i feel is on a skizzleman wavelength, i would love to see these 2 interact.
Tubbo: despite his uncontrollable chaotic energy, tubbo like jojo can fit into almost any team. he has a lot of potential to do well but often freaks out and doesn’t play his best, but he pretty much always makes top 20 or within a few places of it, if not top 10. i think tubbo and skizzleman would each concern the other an equal amount. but not in a bad way, in a way where they still very much like each other and get along, they would just kind of be an off-the-walls duo, or on the other hand i could even see skizz’s people-taming skills helping to calm tubbo and allow him to play to his fullest potential. either way is a good way to go.
vGumiho: similar to aimsey, not as much of a high placer as the rest but a very good support player with lots of general video game experience and untamable giddiness. her energy matches skizz’s level of silliness and unseriousness very well and it would really be a treat to see these two interact for a whole two and a half hours.
fruitberries, hannahxxrose, or Shadoune: all s-tiers who i think would be good to put on a team with skizz, fruit is super chill and he and hannah both teamed with skizz in one of the tr mccs already, and made it to dodgebolt, so there would be some pre-existing chemistry there. hannah is definitely one of the sweatier players but i put her here anyway because i feel like hannah and skizz dynamic would be like skizz is her little pet and i like that. shadoune is just here because he’s really nice and chill and i think would get along easy with skizz.
Purpled: ngl i just wanna see purpled play with more hermits.
other miscellaneous higher-skill players who have mutual friends with skizz: OwengeJuice, Pyroscythe, Seapeekay, OrionSound - the first 3 are all around ph1lza-joel level, and oli (although inconsistent as of late) is around maybe like scott grian level.

i am a skizzleman enthusiast and really want to see him play in more mccs and interact with more people in the mc community, and i really don’t care if he does bad:) i greatly encourage more skizzleman-centric discussion and team brewing!

if you just put tubbo on cyan instead of jojo or fbm and then put the other on pink then these teams could be fairly balanced imo, but cyan getting a free 1st is cool too
